I was so surprised by how England turned that game around. England have so many players out injured the squad is almost unrecognisable and going behind so early in Cardiff was an almighty challenge, so they desire a lot of credit. I wonder if the Welsh fans would have been louder if they were coming from behind instead? As they seemed to be too nervous to make any noise in that second half.

England learned how to beat that Welsh team as the game went on, very mature for a reasonably young team, well done England. Especially nice as my daughter is at uni in Swansea, she is in a happy minority tonight

I guess that's what gatland deserves for leaving arguably the most in-form and best in the autumn internationals on the bench, liam williams. Englands defence and desire was good, but I would expect Ireland can give them a lesson next week. As for us, play like that again next week, and we'll be playing for the wooden spoon in Italy.

Very good game ...I really thought Wales were out of sight in the first half. Credit to England for their win and superb second half performance. Didn't like the light show and all that nonsense before the match though.

All Wales so far and England, like 2 years ago look like rabbits in headlights johnny May...my bete noir of the England side so far has gifted 3 and come inside when he should have dtayed out and gifted a convered try Real liability England can get back in here though. Just need to get at the Welsh a little more and put some pressure on quick one on the ref as well..Garces is f***ing dreadful. One of the most bizarre and terrible reffing performances I have ever seen was by him in the Wasps v Leinster game the other week. ..be prepared for cock ups and strange calls all day long
Great 2nd half comeback by England... the pack was very dominating. Very surprised and delighted. We'll cock up against somebody though and finish 2nd again probably!

A great start and a even greater result for us. We'll hopefully build some momentum from it. It's a breath of fresh air compared to supporting the slackers of the England football team for a start. If we win, I wonder if we'll get the 'it'll still never be as popular as football' crowd piping up again?

If we win, I wonder if we'll get the 'it'll still never be as popular as football' crowd piping up again? In a World Cup year it looks like Lancaster may have stumbled on a formula quite by accident that will give us a fighting chance of a final place. The likes of Burrell, JJ and Watson giving some real dynamism to the backs rather than the stoic, ballsy, head down stuff of Brad Barritt and Manu. If that can develop it gives us something that may actually take the game more to the SH sides. He needs to find a winger though - Johnny May continues to be awful in an England shirt for me. Italy should be a rollover for England this weekend - they were dreadful against the Irish. Edited by The Sash (10 Feb 2015 8.12am)

We aren't even playing Ireland "next week".
