If someone being offensive to you at an airport makes you wish them a painful death from cancer maybe they're not the one with the problem.

Oh the irony, user name sanitycheck having a pop at username suicide......dont have a problem, never liked him, never will....and not the slightest bit bothered about what you think

I hope you don't publicly wish too many customers of the company for which you work a painful death by cancer, lol. When someone has cancer that's bad enough thanks. We don't need to hope that it takes them out in the most humiliating and painful way possible and saying so isn't 'having a pop'.

You're free to think that he's a t***, many do but this repeated 'I hope it hurts' comment at someone suffering from cancer is creepy, unprofessional of you and in bad taste. Again that's your call... your opinion, like this is mine. Maybe you'd like to go 'all in' and slag off the McCann's on twitter :-D.

Really ? you think i should ? why were they a t*** to me at Gatwick ? a bit of a tenous link between my dislike of him, and someone slagging of the McCanns on twitter....repeated what ? ive said it twice in answer to your posts, not just to say it...and whats with the Miss Marple bollocks ?....just so you know i dont have a t***ter account or on facebook...this is the only internet forum i care to go on...used to be a place you were free to express your point without someone taking exception and getting up your nose about it

My sole, and apparently devastatingly out of order, view in this thread is that I am against wishing a painful death on someone suffering from cancer. Watching someone dying from cancer isn't a very nice thing to witness and I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy. Again, that's for me, clearly you have your own unique take and you're more than entitled to it.

Take it out, tonight...

Massively talented man, bit of a t***. Met him twice in two years, and both times failed to identify him. He came into the bookshop to pick up a copy of a new book about The Smiths, on the first occasion, which I told him 'we don't stock it, its not really popular enough'.

Which is a Smiths song in its own right. Second time was for an award winning book of poetry. But he was friendly enough, maybe because we had a book of vegetarian cookery on the counter.

We could do about 5 pages of puns, there's so much irony as well, but I reckon we shouldn't dignify it.

"I bet he's really miserable now"

I did actually find that funny

I seem to recall him wishing a painful death on Joyce and Rourke when they took him to court and won.

He won't want to die from Cancer.

I thought he was partial to a ten truck killing him (as long as his girlfriend was there by his side).

I'm glad you've conceded that I'm a saint . I do think your view was harsh - I didn't say 'out or order', but shock horror that's my opinion. I don't recall coming around and throwing your keyboard out of the window.

'You were snappy in the haze of a drunken hour but heaven knows you're miserable now'.

On the great Moz: I've always thought that he could be on the autistic spectrum - would explain a lot.

Out of interest suicideatselhurst: what exactly happened when you met him at Gatwick?

I was in the bar sitting next door to him, had casual chit chat, music such like, showed him my tattoo, Irish blood, English heart, which by coincedence was the title of his latest album, he called me a celebrity seeking c***, and launched into a stream of abuse aimed at me, the royal family, the media and was eventualy pulled away by someone he was travelling with......he was fine one minute and went ballistic over nothing the next...i wouldnt have minded if i was some lovesick groupie, but i was just chatting to him

To be honest - i don't mean this in any other way - not trying to sound a tool, but if i were to have seen him public - i would be extremely cautious of how to approach him, if at all - i would expect nothing more than abuse - similar to what you got - as that's just the way he is.

In some ways, i would have been impressed to see him go off on one of his rants.

But i do agree, he could have held it n and been more... gentle.

This was once a quality forum....
