It's going to be strange not seeing Jules in goal, but to be fair Hennessey has been waiting patiently and deserves a go between the sticks.

Gives Pulis the chance to have a decent look at him and hopefully Jules gets his contract offer at the end of the season. Win/win

Not happy that Jules is on the bench at all. My only criticism of Pulis is the way he's treated Jules.

How has he treated him then? He's kept him as No1 since he arrived even after bringing in a goalkeeper who is just as good as Jules and has a good future in front of him.

What is that information based on as his previous stint in the Premiership with Wolves didn't indicate that he was as good as Jules as he was dropped twice and spent much of his time with Wolves in the Prem on the bench.

A couple of quote from his Wiki page:-

Hennessey began the club's 2009–10 Premier League campaign as first choice goalkeeper, making his 100th senior appearance for the club in a 2–2 draw at Stoke City in October 2009.[17] However, after conceding four goals in two successive games, he was replaced by the more experienced Marcus Hahnemann and remained on the bench for the rest of the season as the club finished 15th

During the 2011–12 season, Hennessey was part of the Wolves defence that went a club record of 30 consecutive league games without a clean sheet

I would hope the fact that Jules isn't in the starting eleven means that a new contract hasn't only been offered but is likely to be accepted so there isn't any need for an emotional 'last game'.

Logical and hopefully correct.

Words from a wiki page!? That really shows a footballers quality doesn't it?

He Will be a good goalkeeper for us, he's very vocal and commands his area well and is a good shot stopper.

You could say the same as Speroni he's had one good season in the Premiership for us (as we all know what his first season in PL was like)and like Hennessey has always been a very good championship goalkeeper.

Disappointed to see Jules on the bench tbh. Pleased to see Gayle get a start.

Maybe the Argentinian manager has been in touch with TP ?
