Wow, I never realised how scummy their fans actually are. Before the game my father and I were approached by a very drunk Liverpool fan who asked me if I had a spare ticket, when I replied no sorry, he called me an F-ing prostitute. I answered him with a whack on the nose. Thankfully other palace fans were near by and chased the scouser away.

In the ground I didn't notice any near me in C block.

Nice one

Having travelled with England back in teh 80's and having seen them in action they do attract some of the scummiest, dirty low lifes imaginable

I had one sitting behind me in Block E of lower Holmesdale. Pissed as a lord.

He got a bit excited at the first goal and pushed me in the back a bit vigorously, to which I politely asked him not to. He was that drunk he flat out denied he pushed me, then the game got underway again he leaned forward and apologised for doing it? What goes through their minds?

Didn't see him in the second half. He went down the front to have a word with a steward about something and never came back.

I was in the Arthur block x loads of them around had a running verbal battle with 3 sitting in front they got thrown out when they scored their third gave one a dig in the back to send him on his way:-D

That was right near me,there were also 4 across from me that jumped up when they scored their first, who promptly got told to fcuk off in their own end, to be fair they shut up after that.and I had the last laugh when I jumped on one of them celebrating our equaliser.

Anyone in blocks A, B, C, D selling their ticket to a Scallypool fan is likely to be a season ticket holder and a fairly stupid risk to take selling it on, either with the club or with people around you, even if 3 months before you're STOOD with them again. And blocks C and D are the last place you'd let it be known you were a Scally if you did get in.

There were lots of them trying to get over the wall by the flats behind the WH end about 10 mins before KO. That's never happened before. About 6 or so did because you could see them watching the game.

Lots of them on phones trying to suss out how or where to get in or shouting to their mates, "Down here Terry/Barry/Sinbad, try here."

They might have the new plenty of the global middle class supporters but they've always had scallies, especially for the big games.

Reprehensible.
They deserved to be on the end of a good old baton charge and thrashed to within an inch of their lives. Dramatic I know but I hope you can appreciate my sentiments. But we are far too soft in this country.

Liverpool fans in AW? No saw Liverpool fans in A&E up at Mayday when I had to take my granddaughter in for a small burn. Don't know what their ailment was, but may have been heart trouble, though I think The Mawdsley may have been a better used facility!

I'm pretty sure the 3 goals we conceded were all conceded purposely just so we could weed out the Scouse scum who somehow infiltrated our home ends...

Was all part of the masterplan.

One sat behind me in the upper tier. So pissed he was babbling incoherently.

Left as soon as we equalised with his tail between his legs.

They are the scum of the earth and always will be. Always the victims, it's never their fault... and all that. It may have been bad policing at Heysel and Hillsborough but you still need a cause and that was their drunken scum fans.

perhaps we should sell more season tickets and have a lot less match by match sales. Those sitting in our areas either got them from Palace fans (shame on you) managed to con the ticket office, or got them from touts and they got them from... see above!

And why the hell would anyone buy a scarf with two teams on it?
