And to think away fans say getting to Selhurst Park is difficult!

Don't these people realise that there are THREE Mainline stations within walking distance of 'Selhurst Park' !

By Londoner Standards

I've walked from Gypsy Hill, Syndnham and Crystal Palace to Selhurst park, its definately walk able esp compared to the distance from the nearest train station for most clubs.

F**king Reading it'd take you at least an hour and a half to walk from the station to the ground.

I've walked it from East Croydon too - I've never understood the 'hard to get to' cr@p

Just followed that link above to NSC. It's like getting a sneaky look at the diary of someone you hate; you know you shouldn't but you can't help it. They are, bar a few, the most deluded bunch I've ever encountered. Please let them loose badly on Sunday; the perfect end to a great season.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

when you say 'lose badly', I'm trusting you don't mean a hammering ?

I'm hoping Br1-3hton equalise early, then lose to another spectacular own goal by their keeper in the dying seconds of injury time. Or even penalties

I always walk from East Croydon because it's a reasonably short walk.

In comparison I went to the Amex with my girlfriend earlier in the season to watch her team (Birmingham City) and whilst it was reasonably quick to get to the ground, we queued for an hour just to get the park and ride from Falmer to Brighton.

I live in Sussex and I am reasonably convinced I could get home from Selhurst quicker than from the Amex.

Edit: I told a Brighton fan (who also lives in Sussex quite near to me) that on that basis Palace were more like his local team than Brighton. He told me I was talking "b*llocks" which means I got to him

I work with a bloke, who's a seaweed season ticket holder and stays til the end ( unusual i know ) He's frequently jumping on the train that leaves East Croydon at 5.33 for the coast at Hove. I thinks Selhurst is easier by train, the amex is probably easier to get to by car but most use the train due to lack of park and ride spaces.

We used Park and Ride when we went. We left bang on the final whistle. I think it actually took us about 20 minutes to get from our seat to outdoors (which actually can be the case from some areas of Selhurst depending on the crowd size, who hangs about etc, but we were away fans in a crowd of about 400 and ditched right on the buzzer due to a poor quality defeat). It then took us about 40 minutes to queue for the bus totalling an hour, so it wasn't all queuing like I stated above. The thing is as well, the away fans are much closer to the bus stop but all the queues were MASSIVE when we got there, possibly due to the fans not staying on to the 90th minute (possibly a vicious circle of fans leaving earlier and earlier to ensure they get the bus). We got the bus across to the Patcham area (I don't think any of the buses take you right to Brighton station) and then still had to drive out. We did this based on advice from a Brighton ST holder who said to avoid the train as the service to Falmer station is pretty limited.

I live in Sussex too. And Br1-3Hton have deluded fans.

Br1-3hton are like a small child running to the ice-cream van. Wide-eyed and a glorious smile chiselled across their face. With arms outstretched, they get to the van.
Gary Glitter is serving. Someone is in for a bumming

Not wishing to be nasty, but I think you better cancel those coaches you booked for Wemberleee (AGAIN).

Br1-3hton. You are indeed 'special'
