Punch can do it in the Prem and Wilf can't yet. Punch at the moment is a better player. agreed.

FFS can we stop mentioning Wilf. Punch is proven in the top tier Wilf isn't therefore Wilf is not as good as Punch. Wilf to me is looking more and more like Scott Sinclair, exceptional talent but will gladly piss it away at the expense of the woman, money and flash motors unless Wilf pulls his finger out he will just be a journeyman winger. I will not make excuses for him just because he came from our academy and I am losing respect for Wilf more and more. People like Clyne and Moses are what I would call good footballers. Wilf just looks like a talented footballer with no interest of becoming a good footballer.

What an absolutely ridiculous thread! 2 completely different players. I don't even know where to begin...Puncheon doesn't go missing!? F*** me I don't think I even realised we had a player called Puncheon until he put that penalty out the ground at White Hart Lane. He has scored important goals of late, but let's not get carried away here. Wilf is in a completely different league.

Wilf is a Man Ure player. I remember what he did for us and the potential he has. He is Man Ure's to worry about now as to how good or bad he is.

Bolasie's a guy who could shift up front if needed, like Michu did for Swansea last year.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

Bolasie's a guy who could shift up front if needed, like Michu did for Swansea last year. It's all theoretical and moot anyway isn't it? I don't imagine ManU's new manager selling back a guy just because Moyes didn't find him useful before getting the sack.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan |

At least Puncheon has turned up and his goals have kept us up. Wilf is keeping f*** all up but his bank balance. According to David Moyes's daughter Wilf can also keep something else up too

Again...this is all theoretical, but if we had 5 indespensible midfielders, and considering the poor goal turnout up front all season anyway and yet our current place in the league, yes.

At the present time I think Punch is definitely better because Wilf is having a rough time at Utd and then being discarded to the dregs of British football at Cardiff. His confidence is shot!. There is no doubt Punch has a lot to offer but at this stage I would not write Wilf off because if he could get a decent club where somebody would encourage and direct him I think he could make a come back because he has the potential.I don't know whether Pulis would have the interest in nursing Wilf back to form but if somebody had the time and patience it could pay off.

I don't think you can compare them at the moment. What you could compare is how good was/is each player whilst they played, or are playing for Palace. If this is compared Wilf is miles better, some say he went missing at times but where was Jason for the majority of this season it's really only the last 12 games he's done very well. Wilf plus Murray equalled promotion. If he was not with us last season we would not be in the prem. IMO Edited by wainesworld (02 May 2014 6.23pm)
