If the rumours are true we're look at saying goodbye to ten players so there will be some income from sales and also free up some wages.

What we need to consider when looking at that £50m figure is: - all the players we'll be clearing off the books Based on the above assumptions (inlcuding the £50m figure in the first place)I'd be comfortable with that should it keep us up for 3 years.

I guess it depends on how you allocate it, 30m isn't as staggering as it seems, when you consider that Jordon spent over 20m trying to stay in the premiership. The key issue is always going to be wages and length of contract. If it was just a question of spending 30m extra next season only, then I think its a no brainer. If you're talking 30m next season for the following 3-4 seasons in terms of wages then the risk rises dramatically. The problem is with deadweight that you cannot shift. When we were relegated from the premiership last time, we weren't in a bad situation. It was chasing the return that really cost us.

I'll be leaving all the money questions to SP, the board and TP. Then I'll see who we sign. It's a lot less stress gentlemen.

Trouble is that there will always be so much to spend money on!!!! However, I think we've seen a good balance of investment in personnel and infrastructure this season and can expect the same going forward.

Same story in the Mirror, for what it's worth. Seems Tony's people have been talking to their pet journo's... Tony Pulis asks Crystal Palace bosses for £30million transfer fund to establish Eagles in the Premier League Stoke midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is a wanted man, while Pulis was frustrated by the failure to secure Sunderland goal hero Connor Wickham in January

i've also heard that single match ticket prices will be going up significantly, especially for "A" games. this will also create some significant revenue.

There are also additional revenue streams which should increase as well. - we should end up on TV more, so we will get an increased share there - we should be able to increase our sponsorship / signage fees in stadium - we will likely be increasing GAC's fee for kit sponsorship. probably a bunch of others as well. staying up is a nice problem to have.

sounds like a sensible request from TP. Whatever sum he asks for he knows he won't get all of it so like any negotiation go in high knowing you'll get a few £K less. £25m is about right to invest in the team for second year in Prem. The board won't put the club in jeopardy so there's no need for everyone to get their knickers in a twist.

I reckon we'll be breaking our transfer record for the second summer in a row. Could this be the first time we pay a £10m transfer fee on a player?

Shock horror manager wants funds to improve team. As they say you either evolve or die. Either we want to move up to the next level or we just wait for the inevitable relegation. To start with we need a decent striker who can score the goals....how much change out of 8 million would that leave you on just one player ? Zaha is on SPs wish list....not much change out of 10 million. So thats 18 million on 2 players. Edited by BelfastEagle (29 Apr 2014 2.19pm)

Wilf is a great player but not worth close to that.
