I suppose in my seventy years of supporting The Palace we have had such players but as my mind is now in a state of decline I cannot readily identify them.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking of the likes of Eddie McGoldrick, Geoff Thomas, Mark Bright who love this club just as much as you and me. But you are right, in terms of playing staff, I can't remember a Palace player who has shown such affection for us whilst actually playing for us. It's a rare thing anywhere in todays game.

Certain players move on for a variety of reasons, but many return to show there affection for CPFC once they can. Off the top of my head I'm thinking of the likes of Eddie McGoldrick, Geoff Thomas, Mark Bright who love this club just as much as you and me.
