we don't want another sweaty thanks, freedman was hard enough to understand.

Nothing like a short memory. Without our sweaties you can kiss goodbye to the greatest player in our history (Jim Cannon), a season in the top flight (David Hopkin), survival (Dougie), the resilience of John McCormick's defending and Gerry Queen's goals, which kept us up for four years and that's without touching on John Hughes, Iain Phillip and hundreds of others in between all the way up to Barry Bannan who've made huge contributions to Palace. Don't want Moyes, but our debt to Scotland is considerable.

real your neck in, It was tongue in cheek.

oh and you forgot the superb contribution of George Burley btw

To be fair, his contribution to revenues via his bar tab probably funded two or three transfers.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Unbelievable, We stay up via the tactical master that is TP and some entertain the idea of replacing him.

David Moyes won't be joining any football club, as he is to be the new leader of the UK Independence Party, for doing such a great job of getting and keeping Manchester out of Europe

Fcuk having Moyes running the show at selhurst!! He did NOTHING, when he had it all at his fingertips.... Imagine what damage he could do on the relative shoestring budget he would get here!!

This meeting with the Board will be key to ours and TP's future. If they buy into his ideas (and why shouldn't they?), and are prepared to give him some 'play' money, TP has the full summer to build the squad he wants, the way he wants. Surely he's gotta relish that opportunity.

Personally, I think we should be more concerned about the possibility of the team changing almost beyond recognition over the summer. I hope he keeps the core of the squad and builds on it, rather than wholesale changes.

They're welcome to each other.

Nah, if Martinez goes to Spain (Barcelona) then perhaps Moyes will go back to Everton?

Heaven knows what his compensation from Manure will be ...he might even buy his own club?!!!

Firstly, the Everton fans would never have him back. Secondly, the Man Ure board had a clause in his contract stating that if they failed to make the CL then Moyes would only be entitled to one years salary by way of compensation if he was sacked. They're annoyingly sensible that board!

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

If they vote for independence will they want to keep their footballers as well as the oil?

If we go through our customary manager change then I'm all for it. Pullis is doing a great job at the moment but who knows in this topsy turvy roller coaster!

You know, I never knew they had internet access in mental asylums, how very progressive of our antipodean cousins.
