If he keeps millwall up he would have done a very good job as good a job as getting us promotion.

When he took over at Millwall they were 21st, played 24 games and got 22 pts. They are now 20th, played 44 games and got 44 pts so in his 20 games in charge they have picked up 22 pts.

Yeah sad as it is to say, I think he might pull off a minor miracle and keep them up.

Give the bloke a break! He got us through the paly-offs and we had a fantastic day at Wembley getting us promotion. And what's more, when he knew he was out of his depth and lost the trust and confidence of the players he held his hands up and moved on. If he didn't do that we'd be looking at Championship football by now.

Poor bloke - had the hardest job in football.

Inherited a team which couldn't have been performing better... If we continued to play well, it was down to DF, if we stopped playing well it would have been IH's fault. But to everyone else it looks like he has an easy job - given a team sat at the top of the league.

We went up in the playoffs and then the PL started and we were without two of our best players from the previous season (Murray and Zaha).

He had very little time to strengthen the squad with less funds than any team going up. He also had no infrastructure to facilitate strengthening the squad - having to watch players with SP on youtube...

We started the PL and, to be fair, had terrible luck. Penalties, red cards etc. We didn't exactly get embarrassed every game - only the Fulham game was a battering and to be fair they scored 3 goals of the season.

He was honest, left us when he realised he couldn't do more, didn't try to screw us for money, didn't have a bad word to say about the club and he did take us across the line to the premiership, which was the job he came in to do.

Very fair view of him there. He was scrambling in the dark in the transfer window which showed him right up ! Think we had a lucky escape and have yet again traded up in the management dept.

We spent 350K on Joe Ledley and 2.5 on Dann. He spent 2 Million on Kebe and 2 on Hunt.

CLUELESS CLOWN.

A clueless clown who masterminded the glorious victory over the
Seaweed and then against the best passing sidei n the division at Wembley!

He might not have been upto the Premier standard
But he will always have a place in my heart for that night at the Amex and the day at Wembley.

Wd make a great asst manager, but tactically dated now for top league(s). Football has moved on and he hasn't. Nice chap, wish him the best, rotten choice of club with those goons tho. Shd have taken some time out and waited for a good'un. IH and millwall are a bad fit. Grim club.

I swear people just spend their lives looking for an excuse to be offended.

Bloke says hardly anything and he's "bitter" and "Backbiting"...

Millwall were nose diving when he was bought in. He stabilized what could have been a continue drop into a team that is now regularly picking up points.

I'm been watching and I think he's done a good job there and he's going to keep them in the division.

Maybe. And this season only. They will sink again next season, even if he stays. They are cr"p. Better teams are coming up.

He struggled to get us into the play-offs with a lot of the squad we have now, plus two outstanding Championship players. Namely Murray and Zaha.

Also has to be noted.
I.H only had keith as his right hand man

Where as T.P. now has Moody,Kemp, and Francis on his staff.

Which have all been good additions.

But TP brought them in himself bar Moody. Holloway could of brought others if he wanted.

How do you know?

it's the bitter backbiting and also taking the job at Millwall that rankles.

Should he have said "I'm sorry I can't accept the job as one or two fans at my old club don't like Millwall"

"I am now a Palace fan and always will be," Holloway said.

Now go back to what else I said about him saying the right things to the right people at the right times. The blokes full of s*** and unfortunately he's done it everywhere he's been.
