At the start of the season a friend asked me 'whats this Bolasie bloke like'. He was unsure if he should have him in hos dream team.

Bolasie for me, as many have said before this season he has become much more consistent and a real threat when we break. Zaha does have moment of brilliance in him but I also found him a little frustrating at times last season and his confidence seems to have hit the floor at the moment but that's not to say I wouldn't have him back in a heartbeat should the opportunity arise. Personally think Yala will continue to improve the more games he plays
Players come and Go Legends are Forever Palace seasons dont start till December 1st so let the rollercoster begin. |

Yannick wears red and blue. Zaha has a better end product when finishing but crossing and key passes Bolasie all day long. Bolasie uses pace and strength Zaha uses skill. Would like to have both.

If you could have only one of them at Palace for next season which one would you choose?

Yannick for me too, which is a surprise. I thought that last season, Yannick seemed to be where Wilf was a couple of seasons ago. Showed some good potential. Runs and runs but not much end product. At the start of this season I also thought that he would struggle in the premiership after the first few games but since Pulis has come in he has really come on. He looks Like a bonafide Premiership player and especially over the last few games, he has terrorised the opposition. Ok, goals seem to be lacking but the crosses, work rate and just down right effort more than make up for that. He has been a revelation. There has been a lot of discussion about Wilf coming back to us but as much as I really love Wilf, I hope we don't chase him anymore and as much as I love the owners I don't like them openly coming out and talking about another clubs player like he still ours to talk about. That is the one and only criticism I have about Steve Parish and Co. Sometimes I think it's a bit embarrassing. He is gone and we should move on as we have. But for me Yannick has a consistency that wilf does not have. Wilf would at times switch off and while he loved the big games was too often frustrating to watch when you know what he can do. That said, his performance in the play-off final will forever be one of my all time favorite Palace moments. I don't think Yannick is the type of player that could do what Wilf did then but here's hoping he can be. He has surprised me.. Funny enough I think that Last season, they were obviously learning and working off each other and I saw Yannick change into almost a second version of Wilf. The two of them swapping sides and confusing the opposition, was a joy to watch. As for now I think Yannick is better for us and if we do somehow get Mr Ince to sign, that would be great in my opinion as (love for Wilf aside) I would have probably swapped Wilf for Ince last season. I can see Wilf coming back to us at some stage in the same way I could see Victor Moses coming back and would love to rescue him from the dire stupidity of Man U signing an obvious talent, only to waste it without a single thought to the affect on such a promising English Player. They just don't seem to give a damn about him. Best of luck Wilf but we're doin' alright with Mr Bolasie...

We can be a fickle lot...suspect that should WZ return we'll get just as luvvved up with him all over again. I think they're both great, but given the choice I'll take Salako and McGoldrick. Apologies...this sudden burst of Premier League mid - table mediocrity has messed with my head.

That is a tough question. Zaha for us last season was brilliant but it's hard to tell how well he would do for us in the Premiership. Bolasie has recently showed his potential . If I had to choose one it would have to be Bolasie. Unless we have both I think we tend to forget that he wasn't brilliant for the whole of the season. In fact his performances tailed off after a) his selection for England b) his signing for Man Utd. The reason for this? Either his head was being turned by success ( and therefore bringing into question his temperament), or, he was struggling with being a marked man. This for me did put a question mark over his on-going potential. So, I think would have to go for Yannick - in fact if he could start finding the net I wouldn't have second thoughts in plumping for him.

Zaha is a lost soul and needs regular games. But he can cross better, as well as score. So with TP on board, and looking ahead to the future it would have to be Zaha. That said Bolasie could improve further ......

Bolasie for his overall attitude, willingness to defend as well as bomb forward and provide assists, is unvaluable part of why we have been so successful recently. If only he could finish! For me though Zaha on form is the more talented player, and can be a match winner on his day. However if the attitude is not right it counts for little. Would love to have seen them work together in the prem, however it wasn't to be. I'm just hope Bolasie learns from Wilf the grass isnt always greener elsewhere and signs a new deal. Let's all celebrate a fantastic season and start building for next year!
