Brighton don't deserve to be in PL. Don't want them anywhere near us. They can keep their Stadium and "Sussex by the Sea" song all to themselves. No PL, No chance of getting any PL points. Something we have achieved and Brighton can not take away from us.

Brighton don't deserve to be in PL.

Oddly enough that's what Brighton fans as well as almost everyone else said about us last season and we proved them wrong.

Personally I couldn't care less whether Brighton are promoted or not as I think that this manufactured hatred is all rather silly

Then we would have two very f***ing entertaining games to play next season

This was my first thought as well, but then I thought sod em, I don't want them in the PL.
Looks like we are staying up now, and so I want this to be a new era for Palace, with new rival teams to 'hate' and sing about. I want to be rivals instead to Chelsea and the other big London clubs, not to the scum down by the sea side anymore.

After their last promotion and moving into the Amex, BHA fans were full of it and telling us how they were now the bigger club and it was only a matter of time before they overtook us.

Personally, every year we are in a higher division and their crowds slowly shrink back to normal ahead of their inevitable financial trouble just makes it funnier.

Sod 'em. I hope Derby get promoted.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

It's a great football rivalry. It's no more than that for me. People who 'hate' Brighton need to get a life. Sport really shouldn't cause you to express such an extreme emotion. I hope they go up - it would be great to play out the rivalry in the top division.

What about the crapping In the changing rooms then?

Want them to drop big-time.

I don't want them getting promoted, new money, new stadium and new 'fans' always make me dislike a club, I just happen to have extra reason to not want them to get to the top flight.

I also hope the likes of QPR and Watford don't come up either.

I hear poyet is going to go back and s*** again if they get there

Quite. Should bring back some pleasant memories for ape man. The sweet smell of s*** in away dressing room with a tyre on a bit of rope should make him feel back at home.

I can see fate conspiring to make this happen - just as it did last year when we ended up facing them in the play-off semis ( just the mention of that brings a smile to my face)

They may be blowing hot and cold at the moment, but let's remember that we weren't playing very well this time last year and went into the play-offs with most pundits expecting us to fall at the first hurdle.

I rather like the idea of entertaining them at Selhurst next season

If they come up it's six points for us. Their fans would be insufferable but then, they are anyway aren't they. Gotta be honest though as much as I enjoy when we play them, you don't get Brighton fans up here so would them coming up make a big difference to my enjoyment of the season, a bit yeah but not like it would if millwall came up. Plenty of people to laugh at if we took six points off them.

Rivalry doesn't work like that. You're wanting the Charlton method.
