We deserved it too. We outplayed them for most of the game, hit the post and missed other chances. Both their goals were marginal offside calls that went against us. We cracked open their defence and held their attack without great difficulty. It was a triumph for TP's attack policy too. Maybe these teams expect us to shut up shop but we confound their expectations by attacking from the start. Bring on West Ham, Man City etc etc!

In the old days we used to go 1-0 ahead, miss big chances or hit the woodwork, and then lose or draw. Against Chelsea we went 1-0 up, hit the woodwork - and won. Against Everton we went 1-0 up, hit the woodwork - and won. Something has changed for us! The force is with us?

I'm shocked, what a stunning performance!! No 1 candidate for returning to Championship. When Tony Pulis came with his CV of no relegation in his career, stating he wasn't goin to start now, everyone was laughing at him. Probably even most Eagles fans. No one is laughing now, what a stunning performance at Goodison. Yeah, bring on the rest of the CL candidates..
