Ward, Speroni and Jedinak.

Don't know who though. Jedinak is so instrumental in our game; he had the week or the week before, and may still do now, the most interceptions in EUROPE. Speroni has saved us so many times, and Ward' step up to this level has been brilliant.

Don't think I'd grumble if it was any of them.

Ive been very underwhelmed by Jedi this year.

33 Starts suggests you know very little about Football.

1. Delaney (No one believed he could make the step up and proved so many wrong, putting his body on the line some many times)

2. Jules (Has had a another amazing season but we all new he was class, has got us more points with great saves this season)

3. Joel Ward (Class act gave 100% no matter where he has played or what he has been asked to do. Should be on the plane to Brazil)

Any of the six below, all for different reasons.....I would make 11 copies of the award and hand it out to most of the team, these guys have proved even their own fans that they cant cut it in the prem.

Mile Jedinak

Damien Delaney

Maroune Chamakh

Jason Puncheon

Joel Ward

Julian Speroni

Would have to agree, you even put them in the same order as I did

I'd take Chamakh out of that on the grounds that he's just a class above anything we've got, so it's an unfair advantage

It's a tough choice. McCarthy has been a rock at the back and Grandin running down the wings has got loads of assists for Jeromes goals this season.

That's two seasons now where he has not scored an own goal or conceded a penalty, Massive improvement from him.

Ward has to be player of the year with Delaney not far behind.

So he has been amazing all season has he. His stats are very high because on a good day he is an absolute beast and wins the ball so much, but some games this year have been appalling and he has gifted the opposition goals on many occasion.

depends what you view as the most important thing. If you believe the player that's has been consistently good over the whole season should win, then it should probably be Ward or Speroni. If you think the player that has won us the most games/points this season should win it,then it should be Puncheon, as he's won us something like 13 points this season with his goals.

In a season where we've let in so few goals.
IT HAS TO BE A DEFENDER or SPERONI, SURELY!

The rest of the team have all done really well and in particular Puncheon and Chamakh, but 6 goals isn't quite worthy of POTY.

So either Speroni, Delaney and Jedi (defensive midfielder!) would get my vote.

... what

Name those Games.?
We have only let in 39.!!
We have the 5th best defence in the League.
My previous comment stacks up.

Ward, speroni or jedi for me. Punch hasnt been consistent enough for me. Though his last few games he has played really well it doesnt makeup for the games where he was awful or made huge mistakes i.e. the Southampton game.

Pretty sure it does considering his goals have single handed won us 10 points.
3 points vs Villa
3 points vs Hull
3 points vs Stoke
1 point vs Norwich

Not to mention 2 goals vs Cardiff

I do not deny he has recently played well but I think it should be our most consistently great player. I forgot Damo in that list of candidates
