What about we stick that song on a bit of paper, put "Were the Boys from SE25" With it and the drum into a massive crate. Then place the crate in another crate and chain it up. Put a big f*** off pad lock on it, and dump it into the deepest part of the pacific ocean and never mention them again.

I like the European style songs and the drum, as well as the traditional ones, but this one I can't stand. It's unbelievably poor, and most of the crowd never joins in. Get rid.

Quote vin at 10 Apr 2014 11.58pm

Sung to the tune of Yellow submarine

In the town where I was born,
Was a football team in red and blue,
and they beat the Brighton scum,
and the Millwall w**kers too

We all follow the Palace football team, Palace football team, Palace football team

We all follow the Palace football team, Palace football team, Palace football team

Loud and proud fanatics in the Holmesdale, give this a go!

Next.

Personally its my favourite. Very original and has a good drum beat to it. As someone else on the thread stated that the 'ole ole ole Eagles' is personal to Palace, so is 'We're the boys from SE25. Each to their own though.

It's astonishing that some people don't want the drum. Selhurst has the only half decent atmosphere in the country (because the drum keeps the songs going longer than the typical English 10 second chant which speeds up and ends). People who say the atmosphere before the drum was good are either lying or didn't go then.
