I think it's great that we have a growing fan base at Palace. It would be great to hear why you've started following CPFC this season (there are other London clubs in the top flight to choose from) and if you're now hooked on the club and will continue to support regardless of which league we'll be in next season.

I actually joined this site supporting Chelsea, but the intelligent, articulate and welcoming atmosphere in Palace talk won me over. #BPL! Go Team Eagles! At last.

Bit niave of me to expect people to reply honestly I suppose (especially as new fans seem to be vilified as plastics) It's a shame really because I know there's a lot of us who are proud that our club is finally attracting new fans. Many fans have spent years supporting CPFC as an unfashionable club and now we have a bit of attention, we get attitudes from people who dont seem to remember that they were new fans once too. It's so pathetic that there's some kind of pi55ing match going on about how long you've supported your club. The reality is that there's been a significant increase in ticket sales since we got promoted and it would be good to understand why these people have chosen Palace and how they're enjoying the ride. I hope some people will come forward and "confess" to being new fans Some of us are very pleased your here (although we know what you're in for if you stick around!). I've supported palace for 45 years and this is the worst post ever.

'New' fans have probably always supported Palace, but haven't had a season ticket or gone regularly. I highly doubt that there's any adults who have suddenly decided to start supporting us just because we're now in the Prem.

I certainly do not support Millwall or Charlton or Brighton (now). They are all rubbish and have no chance of getting into the premiere league. Has anyone got any spare tickets for Liverpool, some of my family want to see them play.
I thought you preferred the Albert White Stand ??

That was a very good riposte but it wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't because you called yourself Barry Big Fingers.

I thought you preferred the Albert White Stand ?? I started off in that stand, but then moved in with the Holmesdale Fantastics cos they get on tv a lot. I've spotted myself several times now.
