That would be great. We would see top-table teams come to Selhurst and we might even beat some of them. Supporting Palace is an emotional roller-coaster and I could do with some relaxing times for a season or two. But we would still get big buzzes from the big matches.

The right place at the right time

been having little think ( dont worry i sat down)

looks like we we may beat the drop and have out first consecutive season in the premier league ever, and it feels good! and i honestly believe its our time to establish ourselves in the league.

it may seem strange but i think i would miss fighting for promotion or the playoffs in the championship, and although sometimes sickening, heart attack inducing, abut allways hugely exciting, the almost guarenteed relegtion battle.

if this was to be a new era in out clubs history would anyone else secretly miss our yoyo antics. i think i mite.

Let me ask you this, would you be happy paying another £333 per annum for your season ticket? The club, before promotion was losing £3-5m per annum, the increase in ticket prices is to just stem the loss the owners soak up, forget about doing anything to the ground and we may find another talent from the youth scheme to bail us out every few years. Or we establish ourselves in the prem, step by step build a new stadium invest in the squad and gradually improve and enjoy it when we still turn over he big boys, just like we did Chelski.

This misty eyed yearning for inferior football just makes me laugh.

Top chat Planey - 100% agree

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

I would be perfectly content if Pulis replicated his Premier League record at Stoke at our beloved club.

We will have ups and downs in the PL. Virtually every mid table established team flirts with the possibility of chasing a European place or fighting relegation.

I would rather do this and the club make shed loads of cash to secure our future than selling our best players for peanuts to pay wages.

I doubt life as a Palace fan will ever be boring for very long - it hasn't in the past.If we stay up we will probably be in another relegation battle next season - that would keep you happy !

Having some time as an established premier club is only going to help secure our long term future. Steve Parish et al seem to be ambitious. Look what Swansea and Wigan did cup wise? Hull or Wigan may do it again this year!

Didn't Stoke get into the europa league recently under Pulis?

European football at Selhurst Park!

(We need to stay up first :P )

While I will miss the highs and lows of the Championship and all the excitement that brings I would very much like my club to be the best it can be. To reach its potential and finally get to where we all believe we can get to. The problem with that is it takes time to establish yourself at the next level and a few seasons of mid table boredom is bound to be necessary before we can think about a domestic cup, a place in the Europa league or a regular top half finish.
Right now though even mid table is a pipe dream. We are nearly safe but not yet. Next year could be the same relegation battle or worse 'second season syndrome'.

No ambition? You must be a bundle of laughs to be around!
