Nice of you all to give him a proper chance to prove himself before you start slating him. Jeez, knee jerk or what? In the admittedly brief glimpses we have had though he shows that he certainly has a lot to learn and certainly isn't the player he has been hyped up to be...and you could argue all night is he worth the money that was bandied about to his worth ?? He is a good player, obviously, but not the superstar his round the UK tour on deadline day and subsequent constant press snippets seemed to indicate. I guess the decision on Inces future lies with Ince Snr, Ince jnr and Pulis if we are still in this division next season and for Pulis that's whether he thinks he is good enough Edited by The Sash (06 Apr 2014 10.45pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Tom Ince' by Hambo To be fair Ince has hardly had much of a chance to impress - he's young enough to bide his time although I'm sure won't be happy at not playing. Pulis has made the right call IMO not to include him in the starting XI - given in how much regard he was held previously just shows the extent of the gap between Premier League and Championship!

Well it's not what I was expecting from him. He was brilliant at west brom but since then he has goon missing in games and doesn't sit behind the ball like we do. This I believe has lead to the subsequent placement on the beach. Can't see him wanting to stay at the club weather we be in the premier league or championship. Its a shame really thought he was going to be excellent for us. Blackpool Beach.!!!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Tom Ince' by Hambo He must be doing well to get a place on the bench. It's not the right time to start messing with the starting XI. Ledley was our best business during the transfer window. If Ince stays with us, all well and good for next season, if not, good luck to him. If we stay up, we won't be at the bottom of the pecking order for new players. Pulis is the kind of manager players will respect. Edited by thebob (07 Apr 2014 12.38am)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Tom Ince' by Hambo His goal and assist against West Brom earned us three vital points that means it was well worth signing him on loan. After this I trust in Mr Pulis to play Tom as and when appropriate. But as I say , thanks Tom for the three points, and thank Tony Pulis for playing him effectively. (this means also not playing him when not required )

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Tom Ince' by Hambo I thought it was great getting him and hoped he would be used as an impact sub - to step up and fight a relegation battle in a higher league is a big ask - but he had the hype to go with it. It hasn't worked out, yet.. but let's be honest, look at Bolaise, KG, Gayle and even Williams at the start of this season - he needs game time. It's a great learning curve though - hopefully he will learn to talk when spoken to and say what is required - he often spook highly of himself and told the 'lads he expects to be booed at swansea' no sh*t sherlock. Having said that, he will probably go abroad
