PALACE FANS PUT CARDIFF FAN IN HOSPITAL
Sat Apr 05, 2014 1:22 pm
Crystal Palace fans were in Cardiff City centre last night and were going around pubs looking for Cardiff fans.

Eventually they got into Cardiff fans in Mill Lane, there was a large group of Palace fans intent on having an off with Cardiff fans.

This Cardiff fan was hospitalised early hours this morning and had an operation to have his jaw realigned this morning.

4 Palace fans have been arrested for another cowardly attack.

I understand that as we are now a PL team we are attracting other supporters, but do we really want these scum?

OK NICK, before you start getting on your high horse, where did this 'story' come from?

[Link]

From the Cardiff link above:

Does it really matter where it came from?
Any suggestion that Palace fans are getting this sort of reputation is bad news for our club. The picture does show a guy in hospital with injuries.

I'm proud of how people have perceived the vocal Palace fans, so I would rather hope (if true) that the pr##ks that did this bog of back to Millwall, they are not wanted at Selhurst.

Eeeeer yeah, it does.

What sort of reputation are we getting, this is a photo, I'm not even sure it's in a hospital, posted on a football forum with a picture of some bloke who has obviously been in a fight, we don't even know when the pic was taken who the bloke is and you're quite happy to believe this is an attack by Palace fans on a Cardiff fan, give me strength

Learn to read:

My post clearly states "Any Suggestion"
I also said "if true"

So no it doesn't if it brings a bad name to the club

Give me strength.

This is what you wrote originally: "I understand that as we are now a PL team we are attracting other supporters, but do we really want these scum"

From that you are assuming that Palace fans are guilty without really checking whether the story is fabricated or not, my guess is, or not. If it's a put up job by Cardiff fans, as I suspect then how does it impact badly on us.

Here's a thought, before you start complaining, maybe check the validity of the 'facts' you're relying on to prove your point.

Fight in Cardiff city centre shocker!!!

It's always been a drinking and fighting town, the guys knuckles show he was giving it too. Bunch of berks all round I'm sure, but can't see this as some sort of premeditated danny dyer nonsense.

I'll bet he went for some takeway in Caroline St (Chip Shop St) and got tw@tted by a fellow welshy.

I used to go to Cardiff a lot and trouble flares up on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, let alone at the weekend.

The street I mentioned above might as well have a fighting cage installed as it attracts the lairy nutters.

Don't think even the most rabid Sarf Lunderners would fancy cruising the streets of Cardiff at night looking for a fight. It would surely come to them in spades.

This doesn't feel like it has any truth in it to me, especially as it comes from what looks a pretty dodgy site. I wonder if we will ever find out.

Not that keen on Welsh people.
They look funny for starters.
Smell funny too but I don't condone violence against them.
Unless it's Tom Jones or Shirley Bassey.
Those Welsh w***ers have had their day.

Absolutely no proof or evidence whatsoever.

In that forum link they refer to us as having attacked WBA fans but that's news to me. All b*llocks.

I wouldn't trust a Cardiff fan as far as I could throw 'em. Absolute scum. And definitely the lot I'd most associate with attacking random fans.

Are Rowntrees aware of this?
