That's what I have been saying all along since Ian Holloway resigned. Hopefully the clueless HOL'ers will start listening to the more intelligent minority of the Hol now. Can anyone bring up the threads?

Pulis made me nervous when we went on that run of games in which we really didn't try to win and I thought maybe even he had lost a bit of faith in his team. The last two matches the reins have been loosened a little and the performances and set up have been spot on. I feel the players are finally in tune with their roles in the team and the performances have oozed confidence. TP has timed it too perfection and also played far better football than I felt he was capable of and now surely only an Act of God can send us down, although it is Palace. 'kin hell Dangermouse, did you have sit down after that? Yo u know you praised Pulis, right?
Sorry, I'll tone the sarcasm down for you next time...maybe add 2 winks. Sorry, I did understand it was sarcasm, but I thought I'd get my riposte in early, so hopefully I won't have to keep explaining myself.

It showed today his value..OGS simply outthought and no experience to do anything about it Those pictures at the end told the tale, OGS just staring into oblivion with no clue... In a weird way, I think Cardiff going down will be good for them, Tan may realise you can't just buy success and may start listening to the fans. With our fairly cheap squad but tight nit group comprising of the team, board and fans we are showing vocally and on the field that it takes more than money to stay in this division.

It's alright, I know your stance on the football you want to see played! Personally I agree with you on the team finally understanding exactly what Pulis wants with regard to set-up and it's come at exactly the right time for us. These 2 weeks have produced a valuable 6 points that most thought we would be lucky to get 2 from.

Absolutely agree Sashman. The biggest thing CPFC2010 have done for us IMO is creating a sense of community and identity. The 'south London and proud' mantra for example being just one thing. We really do have a sense of togetherness and unity as has been displayed at the Holmesdale end several times. The greatest thing that ever happened to our club as far as im concerned.

We could have gone into today's game already relegated if we were still under Holloway and Cardiff would have stuffed us with Malky McKay as their manager. Luckily we got Pulis and he has performed wonders and pretty much saved us now. The Cardiff fans have had to put with Vincent Tan changing their colours and sacking McKay to replace him with a rookie and they are going down as a result of his meddling. I imagine there was a lot of banging heads with hands for real after the game. If we manage to stay up I have a massive respect for Holloway. For him to openly admit that he didn't think he was good enough was risking professional suicide for the benefit of our club. Like Parish said, he could easily have kept on taking his money and rinsed us for compensation when/if sacked. He did us a huge favour and I'm sure he had an important role in bringing Pulis in to the job which not many were tempted by. Thank you Ollie.

That's me - Til we are absolutely safe I still wont (or try not to) get too carried away but all this survival lark means is we have to go through it all again next year 10-1 to be relegated now
