Mourinho does have a soft spot for us. Remembers his first time at Selhurst in 2004, and has apparantly warmed to us since. He watched the play off final against Watford, wants Pulis to win the Manager of the Year, and said that we have some of the best fans in the country.

I've always liked him personally. There will always be controversy surrounding every success and he is no different. Very successful manager (it can't be denied) with a great record and an even better footballing passion.

Yes he does have a soft spot for Pul;is and our Club. Good on him!!!!

It's true he's mentioned us a couple of times and has always been complimentary, but where did you get the stuff about him warming to us after 2004, watching the playoff final and wanting Pulis to get manager of the year? I haven't seen that anywhere.

Tere was a shot of him in one of the posh exec boxes at Wembley at the P/off final. Doubt he was supporting Palace as he'd just left Real and agreed to come back to London. Probably just a day out. Someone offered him a ticket and he decided to go but he was there.

I like JM, always have. Despite taking a bit of 'friendly abuse' at The Bridge he still came over and applauded us after the final whistle.

The man's a winner and a great character. I for one am glad he's back.

TV showed him in the crowd at the Play Off final and it was in the press over the last few days about his comments on Pulls.

Fair enough, I hadn't seen that.

He clearly does have a soft spot for us and I appreciate that. It's nice not to be condescended to or patronised by the big boys for a change. Yes he's clever and play the game but I think on this he's genuine.

Always thought it was a sad day when JM left Chelsea made worse by C/Ronaldo leaving United at about the same time both great characters which English football missed, I'm no fan of MU or Chelsea, Palace only since 72 but JM is the nearest replacement to the Great Brian Clough Love him or hate him cant think of another manager who has had same impact on the pitch, in the press and TP aside in the Palace dressing room, JM you are welcome back next season.

Mourinho has class, anyone with class has the ability to congratulate even in defeat, he has this in abundance. He's always been complimentary about our fans, because we have better and more passionate fans than Chelsea, he knows this and airs his views on it.
The thing with Mourinho is also that he plays mind games with every manager who has a team he respects, he's also playing mind games with his own fans by complimenting palace fans every time we play in the hope that one day Chelsea fans could copy us and be as good as us.
He maybe classy but he's also a very very shrewd man, and slightly delusional.

a snake charmer , do not be fooled.

Totally agree.

For me he lost any credibility after his Champions League win with Porto. Whilst still on the pitch and with the world's media watching he took off his medal, stuffed it in his pocket and walked off the pitch.

No class, no style, no respect for the fans or the club, just a money grabbing sh!t.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

What about when he threw his league winners medal (and blazer)into the crowd at Stamford Bridge for the fans?
And then did it AGAIN immediately after when they tried to give him a replacement?

Is that not showing class? Or respect to the fans?
