Agree with a lot of the ward and Jerome threads but do need to shout out mariappa and kg for improved performances today - didn't think I'd ever see the day where I thought he had a good game. Kept getting in the way...

To beat the top teams everyone has to be on top form, and today we were, everyone including the fans, same again at Cardiff please, Mariappa my MOTM (if you have to pick one).

For me, Jules and/or Mariappa. Jedi is a real Curate's Egg of a player. His ability to break up opposition play is world class but his distribution is absolutely shocking. There were two or three occasions in the first half in particular where he singlehandedly stopped Chelsea in their tracks with an outstanding tackle that resulted from his almost psychic reading of the game and, no sooner had he won the ball than he passed it straight back to the nearest Chelsea player.

Glad he's getting some kudos on here; he was brilliant.

A team performance like this should drive the lads for the final part of the season.
