We'll be OK based on latest William Hill relegation odds.

Cardiff 2/7
Fuham 2/7
S'land 10/11
PALACE 11/8 - Eagles forever!
W. Brom 10/3
Norwich 4/1
Swansea 8/1
W. Ham 10/1

Today's late goal was hell of a sickener, but IMO we have more steel than both the three clubs below and W. Brom.us

They'll be just as choked as us by today's results -
and their managers aren't as shrewd and resolute as Tony P.

But how do we tackle the Chelsea match? What should the tactics be?

The tactics will be the same as the last couple of games and the starting line up will be the same. Today we were very unlucky not to get an away point and could of nicked all 3. If we change the formation against Chelski we will get a total pasting. As to our chances of survival I think it is still any number of teams contesting 2 places, with Fulham certs. Cardiff took a pasting today but scored 3 goals so our game against them is shaping up to be crucial for both sides.

I can't help it, when it comes to Palace the glass isn't half empty or half full, it's just plain empty. If we cannot score we will go down, I think, BUT, I have been wrong before......

Cheer up mate Palace always do it the hard way!!. Its been like that for 109 years!!!.

It's them or us

They have out of their next 6 fixtures...ahem..Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham and a toughie against West Ham next.

They would fvcking love to be in our position.

It's them. Don't doubt it.

Enjoy tonight fellas and don't let that sod of a ref get you down

Sunderland will be odds on favorites for the drop, as they need to collect four points more than us on the run in, even though they are only three points behind with two games in hand.

Those two games in hand are Man C, and Liverpool, both away with both scoring goals for fun, so Sunderland's goal difference is going to take a bit of a hammering.

Plus Sunderland still have Everton at home, Chelsea, Spurs, and a Man u side that seems like it's on the up, away so perhaps not to many points available for them.

I genuinely don't think we need to get many more points as can't see the teams below us getting many. I'd imagine if we beat Villa & Fulham that'll be all we need.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue

We will have no gainsayers on this thread thankyou very much.

Sunderland are fvcked if they don't beat West Ham next Saturday and they and their fans will know it.

We want WBA to beat Cardiff next week too just to smooth everything over. Or even just draw.

Their game in hand is away to Liverpool midweek, doesn't get any easier. That score board will be smoking up at Anfield...

Think Villa will be too good for us so would take a point from that one. Cardiff away and Fulham away and Everton. 4 points out of 9 from those will do us fine.

The crunch game for me is Cardiff.

If we can avoid defeat we might be able to stay up. If we lose it will give Cardiff impetus and belief.
