Although I hate the style of play, it will not stay totally defensive once the way we play becomes second nature to them. I mean, Stoke were crap to watch, but they did attack people within TP's system and so eventually will we. We have no time for adjustments at this stage of the season. Stay up and then we make adjustments. Never asked for adjustments, I said the players are adjusting and not as quickly as TP would like. If we stay up though not much will change because like it or not this is how TP likes to play. Expect Crouch, Walters and Ryan Shotton to come in to improve the big punt up field and the long throw tactics. You said this before January and we got Ince, Ledley and Dann.

Or if Bolasie could cross like Thomas after he has beaten some defenders then maybe , but unfortunately neither of them can do both . It's all hit and miss. Thus the chosen path is to play solid and see what we can get.

Very noble, had a go and got well beaten. What on earth chance would Palace have opening the game up ?

JB entirely misses the point that we have been employing counter attacking tactics....hence Joe Hart MOM in a game which they had 80% possession ! A last ditch tackle at Stamford Bridge denying us a point.

If we're guilty of anything, it's not making the most of the possession that we do have.

When your playing with a six man defence (the two holding midfielders), we can be afford to be a little more light weight further forward, by playing Bannan in the hole behind Murray or Gayle up front with him, Ince (in his best Position) on the right and Bolasie on the left, and instead of lumping the ball at Murray, who has no one up with him, lets play it out wide to get balls in the box for Murray to attack.

When your playing with a six man defence (the two holding midfielders), we can be afford to be a little more light weight further forward, by playing Bannan in the hole behind Murray or Gayle up front with him, Ince (in his best Position) on the right and Bolasie on the left, and instead of lumping the ball at Murray, who has no one up with him, lets play it out wide to get balls in the box for Murray to attack.

I don't think our tactics are wrong with our present line-up, just wished we more often could pass the ball to a teammate, avoiding the hoofballs and misses.
