At least under Millen we tried to play football and show some passion

We should have begged him ,after all what with T.P and his tactics of boring clueless football would we be any worse off.

Why play ffs on his own up front gayle/ ince were on the bench, love the jedi but please no more free kicks.

Our m/f at present does not create nor shoot ,really tough game next week needs to be a vast improvement.

We cant rely on other team's to ball's up.

Beaten by a better team, simple as that.

People need to realise that we can't continually pull games out of the fire against teams that are....In reality better than us.

All that, 'no passion' stuff is nonsense.

Totally agree Stirling, it has nothing to do with the British obsession with showing "Passion" but we do have some creative and inventive players in our squad, but Pulis just flatly refuses to trust them. Where has Pep disappeared to? Seriously could the skillful players give the ball away more often and carelessly as the current starting 11? Our back four were by far our best players today.

Yup, we have an impressive defence for the amount of money it was assembled with.

Yes Southampton are a good team, but the frustration, (if you were there today), was poor passing and a lack of a cutting edge in the final third. Not strong enough in the midfield so nothing created or played up to Murray. All disappointing, i'm not stupid i know Southampton are good, but we never gave them a contest, we didn't look like scoring today and that s a worry.

The impression I had was that of a pitch full of headless chickens with one side having the ever so slightly better chickens.

Correct sir. Saints are a better team with players who will be playing in the World Cup this summer. Their defence easily dealt with our attack and Lallana looked a class midfielder especially in the first half, oh if we ya dome one like him.

The boys did their best but it was way off today, one shot on target was it. Tough month this one, let's hope we are still in with a shout at the end of it.

Unfortunately Pulis seems to have only one game plan - play two defensive midfielders, surrender possession and try and catch teams on the break. It didn't work for Holloway and it isn't working now. We need creativity, such as Guedioura or Bannan, or someone who can run with the ball like Joniesta. Unless we can start scoring we are going to struggle to pick up any more points.

It certainly wasn't as dire as the first half against Swansea. If Southampton hadn't got the lucky break and we'd got a nil-nil then we'd all be saying it was an uninspiring performance but we did well to grind out a point, so we did well to an extent. But the total lack of an attacking threat made it a frankly pointless game.

Can't believe some on here are insinuating they'd like to get rid of TP! I tell you what, if the board chose differently we could have had an 'R' next to our name in a couple of weeks...

Agree with that.

All the Pulis naysayers: please shut up and stop being stupid.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
