Bannan MUST play home and away utterly ludicrous that in yesterday's dire huff and puff performance he wasn't used. Exactly what doesn't TP like?? We won't stay up playing defensive sterile football! Time to take the foot off of the brake.

Saw him in tiger tiger yesterday, I do agree, he did nothing wrong to be thrown out of the side, the team is a lot better with him in it.

Playing 3 CDM in Jedi, KG and Ledley is getting us nowhere. there is no creativity or composure at all in the middle of the pitch. we really need someone like Bannan to get in there and move the ball around.

Agree. We need to come out of hibernation now. The daffodils are out and the sun is shining. If we don't we will surely get caught napping. Personally I was very surprised by our starting line up yesterday, particularly after our awful 1st half against Swansea. No way should of the 3 above all started. Should of been a more attacking formation and went for them more at the start.

Definitely take it with a pinch of salt, but I've heard Bannan is pretty disruptive and his problems are mentally rather than ability

But if we played BB, wouldn't the ball be sailing over his head most of the time?

He wouldn't fit in with the long-ball style.

At least he'll be pinging the long balls accurately!

We lost the ball so often in the area where Chamakh plays, because we had no one in there that far up the field to cover for him. The midfield played very deep and won the ball so many times but it was picked up in that attacking midfielder area by Southampton time and again. We really missed a player with the inate ability to be in the right place at the right time like Chamakh. I would of been tempted by Ince or Bannan today. Seriously we have Ince on loan for a short time and a high price, if we don't allow him to actually play his natural game he will of been a complete waste.

Spot on about Chamakh.

Ince has to find his feet at this level and that will take time. He offers something different and has already proved he can score but he is both learning and needs more upper body strength.

With so few games left we're going to be pressured to attack away as well. Starting next week.

Yes mate we got to attack but we got to score goals because its only goals that will keep us up now. Can we get nine goals out of games with Cardiff,Aston Villa and Fulham and perhaps one or two out of Chelsea,Man City and Lpool. Its a tall order but that's what we need to save our bacon.

What about him? Not good enough in the championship could not get a regular game so what makes you think he's good enough for the prem?

Ledley is more of an attacking midfielder than defensive one. Personally I'd have Jedi holding with BB and JL attacking midfield punch and Bolasie out wide Murray up front.

Bannan seems to have earned an awesome playing reputation sitting on the bench. I really don't see how he has become the saviour of our season.

Paul lambert, Holloway and Pulis have all not fancied him, think that's speaks volumes myself.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a chance like the rest of the squad, I just don't personally see his appeal.

Who gives a monkeys for Lambert's and Holloway's evaluation? I don't think Pulis does not necessarily rate him but I think Pulis believes in big men but that does not mean small men are NBG. Come on chaps ,its all hands to the bleeding pump ,lets play him at Sunderland and know for sure if he is NBG or that its just somebody's opinion.
