Id like to see Gayle come on with at least 20 mins to go to run through the centre of everything Murray can filter through to him at pace to try and break through their tired defence. They would of played 4 games in 10 days and the site of a pacey Gayle blowing down their necks should worry them to death.
It all depends on weather Murray has the legs for 90 mins, because we know he's got the brain for the subtle touches to send young Gayle clean through.

Murray needs to be resigned to the bench, he aint quick enough particularly when not fully match fit.

Speroni
Ward Delaney Gabbidon Parr

Ledley Jedinak

Bolasie Bannon Ince

Chamakh

Bannon is by far the most creative midfielder we have had this year and his set pieces are the best, Bolasie scares the f*** out of defences and makes sure the fullbacks dont push on, and Ince needs another game but looks dangerous in the box when with the ball.

Couldn't disagree more. What Murray needs right now is games. You don't get match fit by sitting on the bench.

And it's Bannan.

Neither can I, on Saturdays performance he is obviously no where near match fit, so is therefore a liability, what he needs is more full matches and should be fielded for every Development/U21 game to help him reach match fitness, playing him as we have the last two games is not helping his struggle to get fit from what was a really nasty injury.

Ince Bannan Puncheon

Bolasie

Gabbidon

Gayle

I don't think Swansea need the "big, physical team" we need to match them to a certain extent on the technical side of things, hence Bannan being included.

I highly doubt this will be the choice though.

We're the Arthur over ere!

I think trying to match them that way will see us get played off the park as we were earlier in the season. We need to play how we have been. Soak them up and counter really fast. They are a quality passing side so I think Bolasie, Ince and Puncheon have to start for the speed of the counter. That's why I would play Jerome or Gayle instead of Muzza because he is too slow

Dead right, Palace must not allow Swans to repeat the game earlier in the season, and they will if Palace play too much 'football'. But I do think Murray is an asset in this respect; he can muscle in on the ball and hold it. So any quickly cleared pass upfield in the area of Muzz may be just the ticket. For Jerome to try and do something skillfully fancy or Champs casually laying the ball off, well that may not be the answer. Sometimes Palace need to try to win 'dirty', and do we need a result!
Take a tip from Russia, pratising their army on the Ukrain border in an attempt to 'scare' Ukrain into laying-off a bit. The show of such muscle may do the same to the Swans.

this with Bells on! Murray can still make a difference in the final 6 games but up until then , lets get him properly fit....everyone keeps on about his volley against United. It was a pudding! hit with just enough power to make sure it was on target! Now Rooneys was a volley and thats the difference.
Our best performance this year was against Man City away...why re-invent the wheel.

Good plan, hope it works!
