If any United fans cheer or act like dicks near me in the Palace end I will not be able to control myself.
If I celebrated at an away game in the home end I would expect to be ejected and at worst given a dig by a home fan. Don't most United fans wear Turbins these days, When I watch them on tv nearly every other fans is wearing one.

Just out of curiosity, have you never sat in the home end at an away game, with mates who support the opposition, for instance?

I know I have.

Is it just Man Utd you object to, or any fans? Because I've sat with a Norwich supporting mate at Selhurst because he'd rather watch his team play with a friend he can discuss the game with than on his own and meet up afterwards. Can't see the harm in it, myself

Well, yes, there is harm in it. Harm in the atmosphere - he's hardly likely to get up and sing Palace songs is he? And also - that ticket could have gone to a Palace fan.

If you give your ticket away then that's up to you but if intentionally buy an extra ticket for an opposition fan in the Palace end for a game as big as this is pretty idiotic.

Your opinion - you're entitled to it.

Personally, I'd far rather sit next to a person I know is a knowledgable, decent, football fan, regardless of who they support, than any of the dozens I have sat next to over the past 35 years of attending games who have nothing constructive to add, and seem to have absolutely no clue about football.

If you're planning on barring people for atmopsphere's sake, I assume anyone who doesn't sing should also do one? Bl00dy hell, the old stand and Sainsbury's will be half empty!

Oh, you must have met Kermit then.

Tell you what sonny - we'll have a good old chat about the nuances of the game when you've been to as many games and have followed the sport for four decades too. I reckon that'll be around 2030.

What's that? You won't be bothered about Palace then, you say?

Pity.

Don't think they would be that stupid to wear them in Home end.
This could cause it to kick off so any sign of them in home end then they should be ejected ASAP.

Hopefully twitter nonsense, but if you search "Cantona masks" there seems to be quite a few United fans who hope to be wearing them. Vile, vile, vile!

I wonder if those happy to sit side by side with United fans will be happy with that?

You would not have liked football in the 70's and 80's at all. Away fans everywhere in all parts for quite a few games including us Palace when we were out of town.

I was going but as I've got a mono-brow, dark hair, square jaw and shrug me shoulders a lot I reckon I might be safer staying at home. What do you reckon?

They won't, and any that do would be ejected at best.

All comes down to a bit of respect as I said. Behave like a moron, get treated like one, behave like a decent human being, fair play.

c***ona getting sent off was a bit of a joke to Palace fans, we didn’t really understand how badly the Moan U fans took it and how disgusting they (the club and their vile fans) could be until we arrived at Villa Park. Had we known what it was going to be like we wouldn’t have parked on their side of the ground.

Let them wear their c***ona masks and sing au revoir (sic) Eric c***ona as much as they like

RIP Paul Nixon.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

This question of the numbers who would suuport Palace really should be re-positioned. Palace have had regular gates of much more than 30,000. Croydon and the surroundingn boroughs are the most densely populatedn in Europe. It's noteven a chicken and egg situation, build the stadium up and see the attendances get back to their 1970 levels. Drop the prices by 10% and witness a 25% increase in attendance. When Newcastle were relegated with gates of 35,000 did that stop the club building up the seating? It takes foresight and a little belief, not much tho'. Just go back and check your history. Now that Utd don't get anymore than 75,000 will building stop at Old Trafford? You bet not. And you know what? many will not be Utd fans, but the Glaziers will take their null and void money anyway..pay for another Rooney.

I was once entertained by Ipswich fans in the away end at Selhurst. An odd experience not celebrating a goal from either team [1-1]; but I wanted to see what the craic was like from the other end.

I would rather have a Man Utd fan sit behind me in the Whitehorse than the little c*** that currently sits there.
