Delaney much better than gabbidon.

My team
Speroni
Ward Delaney Dann Parr
Puncheon Ledley Jedinak Bolasie
Ince
Chamakh

Agreed about Delaney, we have to play our strongest back line at teams away like Everton as they need to gel quickly so when we get the top half teams at home they are comfortable, preserve the clean sheet and let the midfield and forward line express themselves and get the 3 points. Everton will undoubtedly test the back 5 2moro evening. Got a sneaking suspicion Dann will score early for Palace

I think the eventual team would be a 4-2-3-1 pretty much as now with Chammers supporting Murray and dropping back to make a 5th midfield player - Depending on opp I ocld see KG making way for Ledley with Yala or Puncheon coming in so we get some pace and width with him and Ince..thats not a bad side

f*** me - all of a sudden we have decent options of the bench - blimey

Speroni
Ward
Dann
Delaney
Parr

KG
Jedi

Ledley
Chamahk
Ince

Murray

In all honesty i felt we missed Jeromes pressence up front yesterday!

Ince, Ledley and Chamakh brought us much better presents!

Agree with you both. There was a period inthe second half where having jerome up front to hold on to the ball a bit could have relieved some of the pressure.

I would like us to use more of the many wingers we now have. Keep their fullbacks on their heels with Chamakh and Ince through the middle. Drop KG for Ledle and away you go.

Walking away from Saturday's game I commented to my son that for the first time in a long time we can't predict the starting 11 from one game to the next.

Are you saying that you predicted that Ledley would play left back? Not sure I believe that fella.

this is the formation I'd play at home but would play a more defensive midfield away. Drop Bolasie, move Ledley to LM and stick KG in DCM

I hope we play Ledley in midfield in place of KG, who struggles to do anything positive and gives the ball away which leads to more pressure on the defence. I would put Parr at left back and keep the rest as per WBA game with Ince behind Shamakh. I worry that we will not create enough against better opponents so need Ledley in defensive middle to kelp Mile with distribution. Captain still carrying the team to some extent although he's not a great passer. That said - I will not criticize TP. He sees them in training....
