Can't wonder why Ledley was positioned at 'Left Back' for the Baggies match. Everyone on here has mentioned it's not his natural position. Don't we have at least 2 adequate Left Back defenders already who aren't injured. It just seems an odd choice when Ledley hadn't even played a competitive match with the team and his knowledge of the players around him are limited. I'm not knocking it because it turned out to be a good decision to put him there. Having said that I would have put him in a more natural position for him in these early games. I'm not TP though lol. Shows what a good player he is!

Not only is it clear that Ince is quality and has lots of talent but I'm really impressed with his attitude. He knows he has to work really hard, he knows his place isn't guaranteed and he's really bought into the club. As for the Zaha v Ince debate, I think Zaha has more skills, natural ability and flair but Ince is more clinical I think and seems like a more well rounded professional. Would love to have both in the team but would happily settle for Incey boy. Ledley seems solid and he has champions league experience and experience of playing for a top club in a big stadium. Good footballer and intelligent I think. Scott Dann, still on the fence about him but I'd imagine as a centre back / centre back partnership he will become better each week he plays.

Ince has a much better all round game and has very good support from his father both as a father and, until recently, as his club manager. He is more of a goalscorer than Wilf and can, as we have already seen, play out wide or behind the main striker. Wilf is much more of a flair player with tricks aplenty. He will change some games and have little impact in others. His goal scoring record is poor for a player of his undoubted talent. He has also stalled in his progress by being left in the cold at Moan U and it will take him a couple of months to get up to speed in this league - fortunately he is unlikely to make a significant impact for Cardiff!

Can't believe the above was posted by anyone who has seen Wilf play. A magnificent player who can beat opponents and score easily. I think Cardiff must be under orders from Utd not to play the boy too much. Anyway he was getting beaten up and made the agrieved Cardiff full back look a real hacker. If only Wilf had stayed with us, a sentiment I bet he is thinking himself.
