I little concerned about Ledley at full back on his debut, would much preferred Parr. O'Keefe I think is very unlucky to be dropped all together, what's he done wrong? Great to see Murray back though!

There is no justifiable reason to start KG at right back if true - we have ward,Parr and Moxey all fit to cover the right/left back slots

Looking at the lineup, I really hope it is a 3,5,1. Playing Ledley at left back seems an odd one. Surely it nullifies his goal threat and his passing range!

1) Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

There's no justifiable reason to start KG anywhere. Ever again. The biggest bright spot of the transfer window was that I hoped we would never need see that lump again. Seems I was wrong.

I know its seen as harsh to bash on a Palace player and I don't want to too much but I genuinely don't see what he offers above, say, SOK/Guedioura. Don't think I'm alone either - look at the line-ups on the 'Team for Saturday' threads. Doubt you'd find anybody starting KG.

Nice of TP to take notice of what I wrote 3 days ago assuming 3-5-2

"Speroni

Ward
Gabbidon - Dann
Delaney

Jedi
Ledley
Bannan - Bolasie
Guediora - KG

Ince
Puncheon
Chamakh

3 across the back when in possession and going forward

3 midfielders drop back to cover when defending

That to me is a very strong looking stating X1 if shape and tactics are right. Very strong."

This is surely TPs plan or something close to it. React quickly to the play to change formation and keep the Baggies wondering how we seem to have 5 midfield AND 5 defenders.
