Can I ask a really naive question? How could Murray have played in an U21 match anyway? Maybe I'm just being stupid here...

As for the QPR match he did play, any news from anyone?

In the under 21 games you have three out field players and the goalkeeper over 21. I don't think anyone knows what happened in the QPR game.

Entirely correct. Which is why that well known teenager, Paddy McCarthy played in one not so long ago.

Yes he could be the designated driver if the other lads fancy a drink.

...looks like the season is going to go down to the last two or three games and fighting in all three places, to have murray back soon now will give him time to find his feet for those last vital games...we can all hope.

I would imagine that this game if it happened was arranged to allow both clubs to more quickly bed in the new arrivals after the transfer window. It could also be used for Glen Murray's match fitness. I doubt very much if either club will want to advertise the game nor will they want to report on it too much. It's part of the training regime and hopefully we will see the new players up to speed on Saturday. Murray may take longer but we will have to wait and see just how sharp he is and if he's ready for Prem football.

I can't believe there hasn't been any whispers relating to the game last night. Any of you guys out there have contacts in the club or even QPR.

There is no way you can play on a full size pitch under floodlights and not know what is happening. It beggers believe there isn't a 'mole' in the camp.
