Understand sending Williams out on loan tbh, even though he is one of my favourite players and I'd love him to get more game time with us it does actually make sense.
However, I think we'd be silly to send Bannan out on loan, I thought we instantly improved when he came on yesterday and he gives us that little spark of creativity, has excellent deliviery into the box and is good at set pieces. Keep him and play him more!!

ditto this. I see no point in sending Bannan out on loan when he has something to offer to the team still

I think Bannan has something to offer and should definitely be kept here this season. It's not as if he's particularly young so a loan move wouldn't be to develop him - it would presage a permanent transfer in the Summer. As for Williams, he desperately needs to get a long run in a Championship team. He's in real danger of his development stalling.

Are Blackburn that desperate to play in League One?

Idiot, show some respect for a loyal Palace player coming back from a serious injury.

He has been paid wages for the last 2 years. Loyalty shows both ways. If a better offer came in he would be off no doubt so all the loyalty stuff is bollocks and to be fair for the standard of player that McCarthy is Cucking is 100% correct.

Although every manager during his time at Palace has not agreed with your viewpoint on this. Got to be a reason. For me, that's because the team plays better when he plays, even though he isn't a great player.

Paddy may not be the best of our 4 CBs but it would be pretty wreckless to try to complete the rest of the season with only 3 of them.

Delaney, Gabbidon, Mariappa, Dann and Paddy make five

Makes absolute sense to loan out players that are unlikely to play. As long as there is a clause to bring them back if we need them and that they do not go to Millwall,Charlton,Bolton to help in their relegation battle.

Short loans you don't need a clause to recall, they can be recalled at any time.

Players are not just sent out on loan because their young, players like Bannan need game time to keep them match fit and up to speed, sitting on the bench and vegetating doesn't do that.

...And to get someone else to pay their wages. If Bannan gets loaned out I think he'll be sold in the summer.

McCarthy was a very good championship defender and a good defensive organiser, but he needs games, and at best he's going to get 10 mins or so a game here.

Those who seem to have decided he's a league 1 player should try using their memory. His contributions were instrumental in assuring that we did not become a league 1 team.

I thought Bannan made a good contribution yesterday, but I would imagine he's behind Leadley and Ince as far as Pulis is concerned.

Complete madness if this is true both Johnny and Barry are two players who give it their all who in my opinion should always play we have too many players Jerome being one of them who are hopeless and never never give 100% or even want to get to a 50/50 ball yet play every week.

There is no way I'd send Bannan or Williams out on loan. Both can come on and make a real difference to the team. They offer slnething different to anyone else in that they have real quality on the ball. That quality could be vital against teams around us in the table.
