1st goal:
Ward and Chamack were in the tunnel or half time recess yet.
Both great Palace players, no blames. It happens to anyone.
2nd goal:
Arsenal players are better and made a grand play changing the speed of the play. Ward and Gabbidon couldn't follow it.
Jules had no chance in both. Oxted is a grand young player and was 1 on 1 with possessions.
Jules brilliantly:
In the first half Ozil made a similar (to first goal) pass a chip to Monreal and JS blocked his shot in great timing and reflex.
Then a free kick save that only a few GK in PL could make.
Also a great contention on a play vs. Sahna and some other minimal plays/shots.
To me, instead of spending in GKs (Alex and Henn) we should be spending on STRIKERSi. We have no goal.
We will stay in PL!
Goals against : 11 position in our First PL return. If we ONLY count since Pulis... top 6!!!
Goals favor: Last. Only 15 goals!
We need to put it IN!!!
That's our main problem.
Hope Murray can bring at least 50% of what he brought (30's) in Championship.

I think Speroni's saves in the first half made up for that one error in the second

I wouldn't even say it was an error, sometimes you get enough on those, sometimes you don't. If he'd gone down earlier, he'd have saved it, but that would be hypothetical because OC would have put it over him, or to his left side.

On that second goal, would have Jules done better simply to have stuck out his left leg? It would have been untidy, but it might have sent the ball spinning out for a corner.

Re the first goal, sky suggested he might have gone down too soon?
Is that the case? Or did he have little option?

Can any goalie clarifiy?

If he hadn't of gone down when he did o-c would of had an easy tap in and for the second if he had stuck out a leg then theres no knowing where it'll end up and I think it was a tad to far away for speroni to use his legs.

Thanks Seth.
You have class.
Jules was outstanding.
The striker supposed to put it in once he is alone in front of the GK.
It was simply a great play from the top team in PL and our defense let him in.
Ward and Gabbidon should have done better, it happens.
