As has been proved time and time again, money may buy you players, but it won't necessarily get you a fully functioning squad.........
Also, excuse me for the sexist remark please. I live in the outback now and I can't help it. It is local banter.
Forgive the rude expression - it's what happens this side of Ham Hill

The whole thing is about Sky and viewing figures which is essentially a perpetual cycle. If Sky didn't get the viewing figures for it's programmes(deadline day's and matches)then advertisers wouldn't advertise. If the teams don't have good players then subscribers wouldn't subscribe, in turn the clubs wouldn't get the money from Sky in the first place and so on and so on. Basically an Australian business man runs the football in this country and that doesn't sit right with me to be honest.
Fair enough. English football is run by an Australian businessman and a Swiss meglomaniac. Brilliant

Will he be instrumental in our relegation if he helps keep them up? I know we sold him pre season, but with the Jan window, that could happen mid season. We would take £10 million for a player at any time.

It would probably have been a very different scenario for us if we had still had him this season. Sadly he's spent the first half of it not even making the bench most weeks and now will see out the rest at Swansea (ffs!). Forgive the rude expression - it's what happens this side of Ham Hill

Short of bringing in Demba Ba (and finding out he's just as fit as when he played for Newcastle!) we're not going to get one signing that will make the impact TP has made since coming in.
