Jerome for me. Doesn't stop working, not seen such a committed loanee since Vaughan. He may be unfashionable and doesn't score many but invaluable to the team right now.

His work rate was admirable: gave everything.

Agreed, always does, Chamakh too, and hes got some class. No idea where the lazy tag comes from.

Has to be Puncheon, that guy has improved dramatically in the last month I thought he was rubbish and disinterested. Delaney was also excellent - one of the boys who has upped his game this season when I thought he might struggle.

Good points, but it's Jerome for me. The chasing, closing down and cutting off options to their back 3 or 5 was outstanding.

Damien Delaney for me,also thought Joel Ward looked class as well.Jedi had his worse game since I can't remember, his passing was as poor as when he first came to us.Every player has a mare now and again though.
I love the way Julian is now coming out and claiming the ball in the box,he too had o good game.

Delaney. Jerome and Puncheon honorable mentions. I am starting to form the opinion that a left back may be a higher priority before the window shuts than I first thought because frankly, we dodged a bullet last night.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

You're probably right, but in Moxey's defence, when Bolasie went off, Puncheon was still RW and Moxey had no left winger. The subs we brought on were Paddy, O'Keefe, Wilbraham.

The move by the away fans when their player strolled through an empty space was criminal, but Moxey had another player on the outside of him. He should've been more alert, but go to one and the ball goes to the other. He'll get better with a bit more time on the pitch, but only so much better so your point is still a concern. We need a regular Parr at West Ham performance in the 11/12 season under DF finishing 14th.

I thought DD and Joel Ward. He is growing into a partner for Jedi quite nicely.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye!

Spot on about Moxey. MoM was Delaney - even a few silky skills in midfield at one point (though he lost the ball eventually). Jerome and Chamakh were 100% committed, and to be fair, its hard to get on the scoresheet when we shut up shop after 15 minutes and no-one else leaves our half. Jerome was in the centre for every breakaway, but surrounded by three of theirs, and with no-one to help him.

Puncheon for me.

He gets teams on the back foot driving at them and took his goal well.

There were a lot of good performances by our lads last night.

I was worried when TP went 5 at the back though! What was he thinking? When O'Keefe came on we re-established our hold on midfield.

DD for me, very concerned when he went down injured in the 1st half.

However, I also think Joel Ward deserves a mention, he must have covered every blade of grass on that pitch. I'd much prefer him back at right-back, with DG or SOK alongside Jedi, but I do think Ward is quality and gives at least a 7/10 performance week in, week out.

On the negative side, Jedi didn't have one of his best nights, while I'm also a bit concerned about Yannick, seems to have lost a bit of attacking confidence (although it's probably TP ensuring he's mindful of defensive and positioning duties).

Has got to be Delaney for me last night, by far and away the best game i have seen him have in a Palace shirt. Was absolutely perfect performance wise i felt, led the back line well, won every header, read the game brilliantly and also stepped out and tried to play well thought out balls up to the front two.

Chamakh has to get a mention though for the two tackles he made last night tracking back. What a work ethic this lad has. Never expected it from him, happy to be proved wrong.

DD for me too. Top, top performance.

For Hull, I thought Livermore was excellent.

have to agree there, so was Huddlestone, we could really do with one of those guys alongside Jedinak this season.
