his first cross, after 6 minutes, could have easily produced a goal. And he was always running at the opposition. But Mariappa also played well. I thought Jedi had a quiet game for him, although he did nothing wrong. And Ward just gets better and better.

That's a great picture of YB flying like a bird from that link.

And agree with Qwijibo, Yala has been fantastic this season and fully deserves his regular starting place under Pulis.

We got him for peanuts from Brizzle, where apparently he couldn't get a game. Now look at him. Feels like one of ours, who we've nurtured and supported through the bad times as well as good.

Think he'll go from strength to strength next season. Top man and top player.

I thought it was funny MOTD singled him out for praise as I didn't think he had a good game. A couple of decent runs in the first half but after that he kept making wrong choices, running into traffic, choosing the wrong option and generally not very effective. I m afraid he is not prem class

Tell that to Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman, Mathew Lowton, Theophile-Catherine, Ryan Bertand, Azpilwhatshisname, Ivanovic, Jose Enrique. He gave all these "Prem Class" Full backs the run around.

Difference between Zaha and Bolasie is Zaha can run with the ball at speed.

Yala does it as well maybe even better. Zaha slows down and trys to take the defender on with step overs rather then pace.

He has been class recently and incredibly unlucky not to get a few stunning goals. I do miss having him and Zaha both on the pitch, they really were too good for the championship. Bolasie has stepped up to the prem better than Zaha, he has been taking on world class players and beating them - that takes skill and confidence and I think he will get better.

My son starts football this term and should our club shop ever actually have stock of something I shall invest in a Bolasie shirt. Which will probably pre-empt a summer tansfer

That is actually why I don't get names on shirts anymore.

I think he's been alright. A good summer and the sky is the limit for him. TP will bring him on well.
