Pulis Is Clearly Frustrated

Millwall have taken IH because he was in the labour market and has been promoted twice. IH has no south London allegiances whatsoever. TP does deserve plaudits for what he has done. However, there was an enormous delay between him being interviewed for the job and accepting the job, and in that time he and SP MUST have agreed a January transfer cap. He could not have been so naive as to walk into the job without such a key point having been established. I have no idea what the figure is but it was such a big issue to TP he insisted it was written in to his contract that money to bring in the players he wanted would be made available this window.

Why do all threads about this subject lead to " there's something more to this" type replies? Too many tin foil hats. TP and SP would have already established the list of potential players, and what money he has available, but neither of them can do anything if they suspect a player is worth X amount and their club turns round and asks for more. It's bound to be frustrating, but TP is more than aware of how a small club needs to be run to survive. Patience is needed; we've gone from being cut adrift to in with as good a chance as anyone, all with the same players. Just a couple of additions will make an impact; whether that's enough remains to be seen but I wouldn't start panicing yet. All I know is, if we were in Hull or Cardiff's shoes, I'd have a hell of a lot more to worry about, not to mention what their summer signings would do to them if they were relegated.

Palace fans have been patient. Yes there is still a couple of weeks of the window left but bearing in mind TP is well known for getting his business done early (as is Moody) I would say people have just cause to be concerned. Everyone is strengthening. We have actually gone backwards with injuries and tomorrow not having Jerome available and for a game we surely must have marked down as a 'must win' in the overall 'operation stay up'

Hi Dazza, Well you was stupid not being a Pulis Fan.He kept little old Stoke in the Premiership for several years,and took them into Europe. The Frustration thing is his Mrs is still living in Stoke. I understand that Pulis is willing to bring in players earning twice as much than the highest paid players in our team. Surely, this would ruin the team spirit and never would bring good results.

When he have we ever suffered and not bounced back? When has tomorrow ever not been better than yesterday? Would Burnley have felt so good without two consecutive relegations and four years in the wilderness? Would 4-3 have felt so good without 9-0? Would two months of TP have felt so good without two months of IH before him? No, no, and no. We are Palace. The sun always comes up in the morning. Why the f*** are you depressed?
