Always good news when a youngster commits himself to a club. Not always a sure thing they will stay but I have a feeling Joniesta has real affinity for the club & I hope he fulfills his potential with us.

I'm quite sure that Williams won't be used as a central midfielder.....He's considered too small. As Palace aren't really start with a side that plays a regular advanced midfield role......So that leaves restricted options.

He's used as a late sub to drive the game when we change the formation to be more attacking.....But this can't last forever.

I think it's likely that he's only going to get occasional starts as a replacement winger.....Which isn't his best position.

He is a talented player playing for a side which doesn't have the style of play or formation that best suits his attributes.
