Its taken a long time to tell what it is, but its looking like a 'Beardie Nonse'.

Actually met the guy at the Zen Garden Restuarant about 10 years back in Maidenhead (an ironically named place for a suspected nonse to live). He was with his wife, and they we're really friendly. He even sent us over a bottle of wine later on.

So at least if he turns out to be a nonse, he is one that buys his own round.

Anybody see a recording of the Joan Bakewell interview with him circa 1964 in which the then terribly attractive (in a blue-stocking way) presenter stated that " For us, the British audience, you are quintessentially Australian; do your roots go back to the settlers?"
"No, my parents moved there from Cardiff when I was a kid".

And now we know what Jake the peg's extra leg was for.

On a serious note..
he lived in Forest Hill/Catford area many many years ago and lived near my mum..she used to see him walking back from the shops in his slipper with a wicker shopping basket on his arm..He even carried her shopping for her once..She reckoned he was a charming fella.

Touch my coffee and I will slap you so hard even Google won't be able to find you.

My moneys next on Bruce Forsyth and Cliff Richard

What being a couple?
Brucie does match the kiddy fiddler profile and Sir Cliff looks like he was fiddled with as a kid.

He lived on Border Road, just up from Lawrie Park Road. I remember it well. You and me must have grown up not far apart.

Thus is all beginning to smell of a witch hunt after having done nothing for decades about someone who was known about ...

Rolf is clearly not guilty... I have no evidence of course, but he just can't be guilty... right?!

Jimmy Savile spent a lot of time in hospital preying on vulnerable people.

Rolf Harris spent a lot of time in an Animal Hospital.

That's all I'm saying.
