I'm a Wdensday fan, I'm not here to be a keyboard warrior or anything like that. I'm just wondering why there's a section of your fans that seem to think we don't like you, admittedly there are a few fans that I know of that seem to dislike you for obvious reasons, but personally I don't have a problem with Palace in the slightest. I actually have quite a large soft spot for you. A girl I know is going out with one of the HF lads and I've met him a couple of times and talk to him quite regularly and he really is a top lad. I came down to Selhurst earlier on this season (It's a right tw@ to get to!) and thoroughly enjoyed the day, was a bit gutted about the result but you did deserve to win. I was at the match on Saturday as well and I thought it was a very even game and there was never going to be more than one goal in it. I was drinking in The Railway pub with a few Palace fans before the match and your lot were all very friendly and had a good bit of banter as well. Finally, I wish you the best of luck in your quest for promotion. It would be nice to see you go up but I hope you don't go up because I want another away day at Selhurst :-D Couple of questions for youse;
Hope this bliddy mobileee thingy worked...

Didn't go on Saturday but have been to Wednesday several times including survival Sunday. Always a better atmosphere when a good old fashioned ground is full.... Apart from that Sunday in May 2010 I always thought Hillsborough lacked something because of the empty seats... I don't blame the home support as such - just that the ground is too big for SWFC average support. Best bit about SW away off the pitch is the pork rolls!

Hello and welcome The Owl,couldn't make game so can't comment. No probs with Wednesday fans at all,like Hillsborough,been several times over the years,traditional old ground similar to Selhurst and fans can create some noise under those huge roofs. Don't like ya manager,you will stay up easily,play-offs for us(not sure how we would do),and you will have trouble getting Gardner to stay another season(don't ask). Good to have some proper Away Chat instead of it descending into a free-for-all(Chelskit are you reading????!!!!). What pubs do you use when ya down Sunny Selhurst Owl? All the best for the rest o' season. Ollie's Dad,Ash.

Did you come up? Rate the ground /10? Atmosphere from both teams /10? Your watering hole of choice? Will we stay up? Will you go up?

What a decent chap. Owl, please consign Bristol City to a lifetime of lower league anonymity by smashing them 5-0. Also, I just looked at your upcoming fixture list: Forest, Watford, Leicester, Cardiff in a row. Please attain maximum points from these games. Much appreciated.
WORRIED that your teeth will be stained after a heavy night drinking red wine? Fear not; drink a bottle of white wine before going to bed, to remove the stains. |

We've got trams that chuck you off at the away end mind I think you'll get to Wembley and lose to either Hull or Watford with Cardiff topping the table, Hull and/or Watford will go up IMO I'll be more than happy with this, this season, but I've got a feeling that we'll crash out in the semis like in the last three semi-finals that we've been in. All in all though, I think I'm hardened to semi-final defeats!

Good afternoon chaps, I'm back, had a bit of bother with my password which I seem to have sorted. Thank you for the kind words, I'll keep checking back on my phone on online every now and then to see how you're all doing. Glad to see that you all seem to think we'll stay up, I must admit that I'm growing quietly confident. Good luck for the rest of the season, I shall be cheering for you in the battle for the promised land. All the best,

Cheers Owl. Nice to read that there are Wednesday fans that have got time for Palace. I was quite dissapointed to read so many Wednesday talk about 'hating Palace' since the relegation match. I've always quite liked Wednesday and I think Hillsborough (certainly for big occasions) is one of the best grounds in England.

Nice one Owl. Good luck to you too, I have a little soft spot for you with the Mark Bright connection, despite what some of you did after the survival match. No hard feelings though, things were tense and your boys got some back off Clint so no harm done!

I like the stadium - a good, traditional football ground. I thought the Wednesday fans very quiet - until Lita scored. Up until then I thought the away support provided the atmosphere. It was a scrappy game. Wednesday looked pretty solid at the back, and coped well with everything they had to. We didn't really look like scoring. I thought 0-0 would have been a fair result, but at half time I did predict we would lose to a headed goal and for once I was right ! Had a few pre match beers in the Horse & Jockey - decent pub and a nice downhill walk to the stadium. I think - and hope - that Wednesday will stay up. I reckon Palace are good for the play-offs, but need to sort out the away form.

Couple of questions for youse; Did you come up? Indeed I did Rate the ground 8/10. Old fashioned stadiums are the best Atmosphere from both teams: Us 8/10 You 7/10. Heard your drum frequently but only your singing for the last 10 minutes. Our away singing wasn't as good as it usually is for some reason Your watering hole of choice? Dusty Miller in Barlborough, great beer & grub Will you go up? As others have said, that is a good question. Position says we should but performance sometimes says we shouldn't. I wouldn't mind a crack at the prem again but I love the Championship
