Wrexham '77, the 2 late goals were fantastic, 2 in 90 seconds. It was made all the more sweeter for the look on the Welsh coppers face who had spent most of the game calling us f*#king English wa#@ers who, if we made it back to the station safely 'cos 'we aren't here to look after you matey' were going to face a long journey home as losers. Priceless.

Walshy's against Burnley promotion decider in '79 in front of 55,000 (official fig:51,810 but that be bollocks due to wallclimbing etc) felt very very nervewracking late. But it was only the 70th minute.

55,000 at Selhurst Park - Hard to believe, isn't it?

But as one of the lucky ones I can confirm it is true.

Me too Kerms, and there were reports that 5k were locked outside, here's the clip

A good old clip V Orient which we had to win to have any chance of the title.

Obviously not a historic late comeback but 1-0 down to Coventry in the last minute last season and managing to come back to 2-1 was one that sticks in the memory too

Okay this one wasn't important in the sense of winning or saving the game, but Don Roger's 89th minute goal against Man Utd in 1972 was pretty special.

In case you have forgotten that goal made it 5-0.

And the goal that never was..... at home to Leicester in 96, losing 0-1. Andy Roberts takes a shot from outside the area and the ref blows the whistle for full time while the ball is travelling. Back of the net but disallowed. Great shot it was, too.

Kind of set the tone for the Playoff Final the following month.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
