It wa the bit about the two disabled children and the old man being upside down that had me chortling into me porridge.

On a much more serious note anyone who makes their oats with milk and sugar rather than water and a bit of salt as I observed the other day needs hanging.

Guilty as charged on that front.

Letters from serving police officers have so much credibility nowadays don't they (plebgate anyone?).
True or not this is just another political point scoring exercise by someone in the police who thinks that are so much smarter than everyone else. Anyone here who has been the victim of crime and had to wait 4 days for the police to show up (if they show up at all) and all this years before this so called austerity when the police were apparently well funded and fully staffed (nicking motorists) will know this is true.

Hoof Hearted 21 Feb 13 10.30am

Nick...

Before all these cuts I had a brief spell in hospital having my gall bladder removed.

In the bed opposite was an 80 year old man in agony who had tried to run a bath and toppled in whilst the hot tap was running and had severe burns to 90% of his body and had been in that bath for hours till his son came and stopped his torment. The poor sod was a mess.

Is that Cameron's or Osborne's fault?

Of course it isnt........ sh1t happens and the police can't be there to save people like Jamie Bulger, Old age pensioners having accidents or people being raped, mugged or killed by hit and run drivers.

The police will always be stretched whatever the state of the economy.

This thread has been one of your worst examples to date and there have been some pretty rubbish ones in the last two years believe me.

Which leaves me confused, I use a mix of half water and half milk with salt and no sugar

This thread is so pathetic, this was the only thing of real interest on here

Oats with salt and water..... isn't that what gruel is?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I think Kermie is just doing his 'shock jock' thing.

Gruel is watery. Porridge oats are made with less water so thicker. Like those two in The Chicken Shop.
