Always played up front or centre midfield. Last time I played in a league was at 27. Found my pace had gone due to injuries and becoming a fat b******. Had young kids too, and decided I wasn't prepared to play at a lower level so gave it away.

Played in charity events on and off and last played at the age of 44 for the company team. Foot note though. Played really well at centreback and was asked by some of the younger lads if I fancied playing in their league team! Good time to hang up the boots and leave it on a good note.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.
