Ones that spring immediately to mind are Carlo Nash (why has no-one mentioned him yet?), Marc Edworthy, Gareth Davies, Ade, Aki, Dougie.
Who was it that was met in a pub in Croydon and bought everyone drinks ... I can't remember now!

Top blokes the lot of them!

Aki Riihilahti is always an absolute gentleman whenever I have had an encounter with him.

Met Hayden Mullins in Malia in the summer - top bloke!

On a controversial note, and I know he's not a player, but Steve Bruce was friendly when we met him in Spain!!

loke, always had time for the fans. Georgie Ndah is a good bloke as well. In fact all the Palace players that I have met have been fairly pleasant but I don't really see that many these days.

yeah, i used to go to school with george, he was the hardest kid in the year and a scary looking bugger, but a diamond when u got to know him. i lent him he's first porn film.

Shaun Derry and Doogie stick out in my mind as swell fellas when we met them at the training ground. Shaun even cared enough to ask me about being from Chicago...

From the past, Andy Thorn. Recently AJ

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

I only met Rhys Wilmot just after he left for Torquay (I met him at Plainmoor Ground). He was kind anyway.

Andy Gray was a laugh when I met. I was a lottery ticket seller when I was a kid and he ponced a hot dog for me after the League cup loss at home to Man Utd.

Phil Barber always seemed pretty down to earth too!

Jim Cannon was always pretty accomodating when as kids we used to run on the pitch and be all over him after he'd been sweating blood and guts for us.

They just don't make 'em like these fellas any more! All to busy 'roasting', posing and generally being arrogant c*nts a la Julian Gray!
