Tucker Carlson with more evidence that people really do fail upwards in the Democratic party.....as if Biden and Harris weren't already proof of that....However, what he shows here is quite damning.

DeSantis sends just 50 illegal immigrants in Martha’s Vineyard to cause an 'humanitarian crisis' on their rich left wing island. Now imagine what Texas & Arizona cities dealing with millions of illegal immigrants crossing the border are dealing with. If rich Democrats want illegal immigrants then they need to be made to live among them as well. People whose 'principles' involve other people having to live them instead of them themselves then they need to be made to live their principles and not run from them. Thank goodness for DeSantis....keep sending these immigrants into rich Democratic areas and indeed, any areas who vote for these policies. [Tweet Link]

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Maybe something of an exaggeration! No-one denies there is a problem with illegal migration in the US, just as there is here. What also needs to be recognised is what drives that migration and that, for it to stop, it needs to be tackled at source. Populist politicians catching votes from the disgruntled do no-body any favours. There are a lot of myths surrounding immigration. Perhaps this may clear a few up:-

Hard to argue with facts like that, lucky they cleared that up so concisely!

Sanctuary cities / areas not only proclaim illegal immigrants are welcome but actively discourage local law enforcement from working with the Federal authorities. I like the idea perhaps we should start busing them to Truro It's the reaction from some of the wealthy owners that is laughable the usual "we welcome immigrants but but but..." If they lack resources to deal with them they can always raise their taxes unlike the rest of America this lot can afford it.

This is DeSantis playing politics with people, which is not a great idea at all. Unless I am misinformed, we already have a policy of dispersal. How you ensure people stay where they are taken is another matter. If they have relatives or friends, they tend to gravitate towards them. How many arrive in Truro, I don't know. What I do know is that there is a centre here where the newly arrived can be helped to learn English, and English customs, to assist them to assimilate. With the huge numbers of health care workers now arriving from Africa, now they don't from the EU, this is a very important resource.
