What is mythical is the idea that the BBC condoned it in some way. They were as duped by these people as the rest of us and have subsequently taken steps to try to ensure it doesn’t happen again. I think I'll frame this quote and bring it out the next time there's a BBC sex scandal.

I think that the majority of allegations of 'institutional racism' are myths - more of a problem is such nonsense as 'unconscious bias' (as agreed by the outgoing chair of the Institute of Race Relations, Colin Prescod, who stepped down after 43 years earlier this year). It seems that there is a case for believing that the BBC turned a blind eye and in some cases covered up.

Murdoch’s attack dogs are waiting to pounce on anything that can be written up to give the impression of any kind of corruption within the BBC. You can rely on them to build a whole mountain range from a molehill.

What is it you are asking? Just checked. You made this claim before. I responded on 14th July at 11.33. I answered, even if you either disagree or cannot understand.

That the racism can result from an “unconscious bias” doesn’t mean it neither exists or that it’s not throughout an institution. It merely means the ways to eradicate it are different. It could be argued that there is institutional racism throughout society as a result of unconscious bias! The lack of any actual evidence for the assertions that the BBC turned a blind eye or covered up has already been explained at length. Innuendo and tabloid headlines do not equal evidence.

So one can be a racist by simply being a sentient being and not actually behaving or acting in a racist way? As I said, even the outgoing chair of the Institute of Race Relations has dismissed 'unconscious bias' as the crock of you know what that it is. [By the way, never heard of using radiation to counter racism before!]

You are misrepresenting what Prescod said. He didn’t suggest that unconscious bias doesn’t exist. He was criticising the concentration on training given to try to deal with it and saying this avoided the need to tackle the problem on an individual basis.

Nobody with any sense could seriously believe the BBC harboured paedos. It's only made up by red tops wanting an end to the liberal centre ground press. It literally didn't happen - despite what everybody can see or read with their own eyes. Don't believe them - you're being fooled. You're weak minded and far right to even consider the mountain of evidence.

The Guardian (yes, the Guardian) headlined Prescod's remarks as "Unconscious bias training is ‘nonsense’, says outgoing race relations chair"!
