This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Would be funny though if they end up signing an Ivory Coast winger for the money that we wanted , but it isn’t Zaha Looks like he wants to play a better level of football, but no team that plays at a higher level, either here or abroad, values him at more than half what we want for him. Seems like he isn’t even the best winger for the Ivory Coast. Reckon he will struggle to hold down a first team place at Palace next year

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Bored now. The only time you need the said player in transfer is for the photo call signing the legal document & the obligatary holding the shirt blah blah blah. Funny how Wilf is STILL on hollibobs. Just saying
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

They are all in the filed companies accounts. Have no intention of trawling through that lot John. No money left in the club?..we'll see lol. Seems like Arsenal use the same accountant..only 40mil to spend?
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong |

Why would we have borrowed £45 million and still owe the people (shareholders) who loaned it, if we had the money anyway? Do you usually borrow money at interest when you have the money anyway?

Seems like Arsenal can afford 70mill after all It’s over instalments lasting 5 years so they either can’t afford to (bollox), or keep trying so they don’t have to spend £70mil within the usual timeframe of instalments everyone else does. We weren’t prepared to accept payments over 5 years so that deal and their bid for Wilf aren’t really comparable. Both a joke mind you.

"He's dealing with the chairman at the moment" Roy claims to know nothing about the situation. Exactly what you would expect the chairman calls the shots not Roy.
