If they do sign Pepe for £70m,it just confirms what a despicable bunch they are, pleading poverty, restricted to a £40 m transfer budget and trying to secure our prized asset on the cheap, offering to throw their deadwood as makeweights to complete a deal. In the past Palace have been the subject of Arsenal’s you will accept our valuation of your players. Because they knew Palace couldn’t afford to say no. The likes of Kenny Samson and Ian Wright ok we got Clive Allen out of the Samson deal. But both Players went to Arsenal cut price. Now because we can demand what we think is today’s market value Arsenal and their pathetic fans can’t get their own way they start throwing their toys out of their pram. We all know how good Zaha is he would give any team another dimension. I bet If Wilf does sign from them, the whole Gunners forum will be singing his praise. And of course singing the only song they know the words to on match days. We are the greatest team the world has ever seem and it’s Arseeeeennaallll which they can’t say Arsenal right, but of course I’m forgetting they only singing when they are leading. . Irrating bunch of toe fungi .

According to the published accounts of Palace Holdco as at 30 June 2018 the shareholders had loaned £21 million to the club with a further £24.375 million loaned since then. There is no money in the club There is no necessary connection between those two sentences.

There is no necessary connection between those two sentences. Correct, but we have a huge wage bill and large payments for previous transfers still outstanding. What isn’t happening is all of the AWB money being spent, even if we have a small amount from the usual annual payments minus wages and all payments due over the next 10-12 months. There’s a lot of correcting of previous transfer (non) strategies happening and to continue happening for quite a whil unless the club is bought out by someone willing to do what’s required.

There is no necessary connection between those two sentences. I really struggle with these financial things, without going into great detail could you please explain to a mere mortal why this is.

Are loans repayable on demand (like a bank) or when funds are available, maybe in installments ? You might have to ask them. Maybe it always changes as in past January Windows when the panic sets in after repeated errors and attempts to get by short of whichever positions. We’ll see what we do in respect of RB and the low or non scoring forwards we have.

You disagree with company accounts signed off at companies house? Ok fella. You or we might view the US shareholders as being a let down. But the financial accounts are a fact, the US shareholders have put money in, but frustratingly forvus probably want some back after sales of AWB & Zaha when the aim was to build a huge main stand and cement our stay in the Prem. Crack on with disagreeing on facts. Forgive me he who must never be questioned. Didn't realise you had access to all the finances.. tv, league payments, merchandise, sales debts, profits salaries etc. I'll just crack on and disagree with "facts"if that's ok with you. Just my opinions after all. Looks like no more signings then. Still...good result today Rudi
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong |
