News I have heard from Jamaica is that flights from Russia to the West Indies are fully booked for the next two weeks by the ultra-rich. Anyone wish to take a guess what may happen in a couple of weeks time? I can think of two possibilities, neither really likely nor even feasible, so will be glad to hear yours. Mine are, firstly, that Putin will be overthrown, and they want to be out of the way. The second doesn't bear thinking about.

If not there it could get very nasty And the West Indies is a long way from big bombs and their fallout. Apparently the travel goes via Frankfurt.

Apparently the travel goes via Frankfurt. Maybe it's simpler than that. With their super yachts and aircraft impounded and a highly restricted number of places they can go to safely, maybe they have booked a whole exclusive resort just for themselves. Let's hope so. Maybe the CIA will interrogate them and find them some comfortable accommodation on a nearby island. I hear Guantanamo Bay has some vacancies.

Russia again states how this all started. Russia has described Nato's expansion as "destabilising" (BBC) Probably not exactly all the story, but kind of gave Russia the green light And the thing that perplexes me, is that other nuclear powers are watching from the sidelines, ganged-up like vultures ready for the spoils. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (29 Jun 2022 1.04pm) The BRICS nations have formed a trade alliance against the west (Europe and the US). They know that the US dollar is currently on life support and see it as an opportunity. This includes stockpiling gold. Despite what many think most of the world does not support Ukraine in this.

I'll ask again - since you've repatedly swerved it. As someone who 'still' claims to have not yet seen or believed a single attack by Russians on Ukranian civilians, what's your view of the missile strike on a Ukrainian mall?

See attached and also note that the BBC video that "shows missile striking shopping mall" doesn't show a missile striking a shopping mall. The Amstor mall was next door to the Kredmash factory that makes heavy machinery and the Russains claim is was being used to store ammunition/weapons. If so, it was a legitimate military target. By the way, clearly you think we live in a democracy which is just something else we'll have to disagree on.

Well you seem to relentlessly attack your country and the West, and are free to do so, so count your blessings. If you think you live in such a hell hole go to Russia and 'speak your mind' there are see how you get on.
